Vision #426: 2nd Warning to Tokyo, Japan- A Strong Earthquake is Coming

VISION: As I was soaking, I found myself on my eagle. It’s been a while since I’ve spirit travelled. (that’s what I call it for a lack of better words). It’s a large bald eagle; like the size you’d see in the Narnia or TLOTR series. I’m flying over a large body of water with my armour on, praying Ps 91 and then in tongues (in the Spirit). I can see that the water is a vast ocean. We came to land and I saw a large city with many tall buildings. I was mid-air looking from the shoreline towards this vast city. I then got a close up of several tall buildings and some shorter ones (but short was still fairly tall) as they began to sway violently back and forth. Some of them collapsed. I understood there was a great shaking going on. I heard people screaming and saw some trying to run to find safety. My perspective changed and I was in the water looking at the ocean floor not far from the land and city. I saw one part of the ocean floor lift up and a huge jolt was produced. I knew then this must be an earthquake. I knew there would be a tsunami with it. I asked Jesus about the city and He showed me the Japanese flag which confirmed my suspicions. This is the 2nd vision regarding an earthquake coming to Tokyo, Japan. Previous #200.
TALKING WITH JESUS-I began to cry and I got a little upset and asked Jesus, “Haven’t they suffered enough from the deadly tsunami that hit 2011”? (I watched many of the tsunami videos and cried and cried. It was such a difficult time for them. Japan has been on my heart). “Isn’t it someone else’s turn; like China’s government or Iran’s government or Canada’s PM for that matter?” And Jesus replied, “I Am not done with Japan yet.” And He commented further, “My thoughts are not your thoughts. You don’t know what I have all planned and what I have been doing. (regarding other nations). In your humanness You do not see what I see. It will be Tokyo’s turn soon. I allow difficult circumstances to humble them as it is My mercy that keeps them from entire destruction. My purpose is to bring them to their knees, lift up their heads and cry out to Me. I Am the only way, the Truth and the Life.”

INTERPRETATION: I understood that a great earthquake will affect Tokyo. I don’t know when. I heard Jesus say, “Very soon.” But His “very soon” could be any time in the near future- and what is the near future? That’s relative. From my understanding from past visions it’s either immediately, very soon or soon.
I know that God goes through great lengths to bring people to their knees to humble and bring them to Him. It is His incredible mercy and compassion that He doesn’t destroy us completely. (Lamentations 3:22-23. But God will not tolerate sin and this particular situation, it is my understanding that Tokyo’s idolatry is what God is contending with.
Then Jesus said, “Everyone was created to know Me. It’s in your DNA. The understanding that there is a Higher Presence to worship and know Me is placed in every person whom I have created.” (This reminds me of Jackie Baker- I Was Made to Love You. See below). But not everyone worships the True “Higher Presence.” The enemy has bewitched and deceived them so they lift their eyes and adoration to another, instead of the true God. It’s like the enemy is competing with God for love and adoration. (which is no competition at all but many fall for the lies). This is idolatry and sin in God’s eyes. He will contend with them, allowing calamity, using it to bring people to Him and bring about restoration. In Joel 2:13 it says that God is full of mercy and compassion and with repentance, He may relent with disasters or calamities.
WHAT IS YOUR HEART FOR TOKYO: Jesus said, “Run after Me, seek Me with all your heart and I will be found by you. I Am your Protector, Creator, the One who loves you and sees you. I Am the only One to be worshiped. Come through the narrow gate which leads to eternal life with Me. None of your ancestors; spirits or deities died for you. I died for you that you may have life and have it to the fullest. The spirits (which are demons) are there to keep you in darkness and away from My truth. Striving by showing respect, honour, and kindness will not grant you a happy life after death.” I understood Jesus used the broad gate as a word picture to compare the gateways of the Shinto shrines which leads to spiritual death. (they are symbolic gateways that enable demonic worship and influence).

Is 2:8 “Their land is full of idols; everyone worships the work of his hands; what their own fingers have made.
And Ex 20:3-6 where God gave us 4 verses specifically regarding idolatry: “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above, on the earth beneath or the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for the Lord your God is a jealous God, punishing the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation for those who hate Me, but showing love to a thousand generations for those who love Me and keep My commandments.”
Jer 29:13-14a “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord…”
Matt 7:13 Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. Wide is the gate(way) and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many find it. Narrow is the gate(way) and small is the road that leads to eternal life but few find it.”
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities- all things were created through Him and for Him.
Ps 24:1-2 The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it/the fullness thereof, for He founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.

PRAYER: Pray for the people of Japan, especially those in Tokyo, that God would pour out His Spirit on them, that they would have a powerful encounter with Him- to experience His great love for them- so that they would seek His face and be found by Him! May the lies of their idolatry be exposed. May they enter through the narrow gateway and into eternal life! I declare their eyes and ears- which are gateways to their hearts-be filled with the truth of the Lord, in Jesus name. May they come under a Godly conviction that leads to repentance, reconciliation and restoration in Jesus Messiah. In Jesus name.
INFORMATION- Japan has two major religions: Shinto and Buddhism. Shinto is polytheistic and animistic and entered Japanese life around “300 BC” (Wikipedia). Its focus is the worship of nature, inanimate objects and ancestors, particularly past emperors. They have no doctrine, no single founder and no specific creator. There are many kami/deities or spirits that they can worship; it’s a long list as there is a spirit for everything. It is said that Kami inhabit all things: nature and landscapes. The Kami which is used as singular or plural, are worshiped in household shrines as well in public shrines where Kami priests facilitate divination; rituals through dances and rites of passage. They supply amulets for good luck and protection. They also participate in washing practices called Matsuri. (it is often the hands or face that are cleansed. This reminds me that the enemy is a copycat. In the OT it was God who called the Jewish priests/people to use cleansing with water rituals in the temple, but after Jesus died and resurrected-which abolished the sacrificial system- it is no longer required. James says, “…cleans your hands and purify your hearts you double-minded.” James 4:8). Shinto is usually practiced during festivals and weddings. There is a famous Torii gate that sits in the water as an entrance or gateway to a Shinto shrine in Hiroshima, Japan. (see pic below). These gates are often found before Shinto shrines which are symbolic as they represent the transition from everyday into what they consider a sacred space where it is believed the kami or spirits reside. In the spiritual realm, when people enter the Shinto shrine gateway, they come under a demonic covering/mantle which opens a door to the enemy. (It’s that verse about participating with demons I’m reminded about in 1 Cor 10:20-21)

Buddhism was integrated into Japanese culture at the “end of Kofun period 300 to 538 AD.”(Wikipedia). It is based on philosophy that focuses on striving to achieve enlightenment through meditation and understanding the nature of existence. It believes in reincarnation in the afterlife and karma; that actions create consequences (karma) that determine the future of rebirths. It is practiced mostly at funerals or festivals.
Tokyo has over 100 000 shrines.
And according to Wikipedia, 1% of Japanese are Christian and out of that, 60% are in Tokyo. The population of Tokyo and metro area with the six prefectures of Tokyo is 41 million making it one of the largest cities in the world. (2024 Wikipedia). 1% of 41 million is 41 000.
