Two dreams and one experience concerning salvation, deliverance and sanctification

Hi this is Gabriel and I had this first dream within months of praying and asking Jesus into my heart. This was in June of 2000. I was an agnostic at this time and was working my third step in Narcotics Anonymous which is worded like this: “We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to God as we understood Him.” Let me be clear, there is only ONE true God and He is Jesus Christ amen. I was working this step and also reading a short book called “The believers authority” by Kenneth Hagin in this time frame. One day I fell asleep on my couch and found myself in the presence of a terrifying demon. I felt this unmovable weight on me and was so afraid that I couldn’t do anything. I perceived that I had made some kind of deal with it in the spiritual realm and mustered the words “I don’t need you anymore, I’m going towards God.” At this point I knew it wanted to kill me but couldn’t because I was protected. I woke up trembling and within two months time I was on the side of the road praying the sinners prayer with my friend Mike that had been witnessing to me. The second dream was in early 2019 and it was short but vivid. I had gone through alot before and honestly in my first 8 years of being a Christian I wanted Jesus but would surrender to sin most of the time when tempted. I had never truly repented as this isn’t taught much in my area in churches and the deliverance ministry is rare here also. I had backslidden and had an awakening in late 2018 and found out about the deliverance ministry through omegaman radio and Derek Prince ministries. I contacted one of the ministries I heard on omegaman and set up a time to be taken through deliverance prayer. My dream happened one night while I was waiting to fly down to Texas. I had a dream where I saw myself yelling while laying down and I realized spirits were leaving me and I would be freed in Jesus’ name! My experience happened not much later after my deliverance session. I had been attacked severely for quite some time by condemnation as my first wife divorced me in 2008 and went back into the world. I was remarried about a year later and the attacks began when I decided I wanted to truly live for the Lord and obey His word at any cost in late 2018. I was working in a weld shop and listening to my earbuds one day. I was listening to the book of Matthew and it was dramatized as if Jesus Himself was speaking. I heard Matthew 19:9 when Jesus told the pharisees “And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery. ” At Jesus’ words immediately I felt something lift up, out and off of me! His mighty word drove that condemnation out! It has tried to latch on me again but I command it to go in Jesus’ name and it works! I had read that scripture before but confused it with others. That situation was exactly what mine was.. thank God for His mercy!
The main point I want to make is that Jesus and Jesus alone saves and gives His followers authority over the demons (Mark 16, Luke 10:17-20) . The deliverance ministry is severely lacking in the American church and as a result many people in churches do not walk in victory over sin and are just like the world! I lived it! Now, because of the leading of the Holy Spirit to go through deliverance I don’t sin anywhere near how I used to (and overcome temptation) and I’m much closer than I’ve ever been to the Lord. This is part of the power of Jesus Christ and His work on the cross that is missing in many churches! Time is running out and we will shortly be meeting our bridegroom. Will you be found with oil in your lamps or completely miss the banquet and be cast out in the outer darkness? With the hard times coming we need to be free of addictions and able to be led by the Spirit! (Romans 8:14) It will be a matter of life and death and I don’t just mean physical death. Many believers have a problem with the idea of a Christian having an evil spirit but in 2 Corinthians 11:4 Paul tells the church (Christians) “if you receive different spirit which you have not received..” and 2 Corinthians 7:1 says “therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. No, evil spirits do not own Christians but if we open the door we can most certainly have them! This is our sanctification here: 2 Timothy 2:2 ” But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.” It is time to be ready and warn others to get ready as we are much father along than most think! Make sure you have the true Jesus of the Bible.. not all that glitters is gold in the church! There are many fakes out there. If it’s a powerless gospel it’s not the true gospel. If it’s an easy gospel (no repentance, no fruit, no change) it’s not the true gospel!! If it’s about the world ( prosperity, social gospel or taking over this world) it isn’t the true gospel!! We are to love the people of the world but according to the Bible we will not be taking over arts, entertainment, media, political, business and all the others, we will be persecuted! Of course we should want to occupy and preach Jesus to the lost but we won’t take over the world. Run from this stuff! We need to cooperate with Holy Spirit, walk in repentance, get sanctified and walk in relationship with our wonderful God and take as many as possible with us! TIME IS SHORT!!!
