“Think small”

The other day I had the dream about packing the meat of the Word- preparing the Word in easy to carry ways to be distributed.
Yesterday, I received this prompting about “think small” as in preparing physical items to be used anytime but especially during crisis.
Encouragement to have these in your home and especially in your car.
Consider preparing a backpack and shoes to be kept in your car for emergencies….
In the last week or so, it has been very hot, and I have given out water bottles to people from my car.
A lot of people have no preparations in their car….
We will be faced with more extreme crises as time goes on…
Please be prudent!
So in addition to small Bibles and tracts….
The following in individual packets…
- Hand wipes
- Salt
- Sugar
- Kleenex
- Consider powdered packs of electrolytes
- Small bottles of OTC medications
Other items:
- Bottles of water (keeps better in car in hard plastic cooler)
- Solar charger for you phone (AMZ has decent ones, not too $)
- Nitrile gloves, first aid kit
- Compass
- Fire starter/water proof matches/lighter
- Mylar blankets
- Tarp/rope/mini tool kit
- Small nonperishable healthy snacks (keeps better in car in hard plastic cooler)
- Weather appropriate hats (caps, beanies etc..) gloves
All of these items are small and do not require much room in your car but could be of great help to someone in need.
