“THERE IS DECEPTION AMONGST MY BODY”

For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matt. 24:24
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3
(In the midst of this word, the Lord showed me a scene of a very narrow, precarious foot bridge. It was stretched out across a very deep chasm and the way ahead was quite treacherous to walk upon. But the Lord Himself was carrying someone across the bridge to the other side. And then the vision faded.)
“In these days there is great deception that abounds all around you. There is deception amongst my body. For my body has developed ‘itching ears.’ She has fallen prey to many strange and unusual teachings. Many have wandered into other rivers of my Spirit. For you should have been grounded in my word, but rather you chose the strange and the unusual.
But I can carry you through these times ahead. I can cause you to walk carefully so that you don’t fall into the abyss below. The world has blinded many of you to my truth. For you are partaking of the world around you instead of feeding upon my word.
I tell you that you won’t weather the storms ahead if you continue to feed upon the world and all that it has to offer you. You will walk as blind men who don’t know the way ahead of them. You must walk carefully in these days for the way ahead will be paved with many dangers. I have said that if possible, even the very elect would be deceived. And so, some of you have fallen into this error. And the very subtle thing about it is that you aren’t even aware of it.
But I have some of you who have been trained by my Spirit and you have not fallen prey to these things that others have. For you have trained your eyes and ears to know the difference between what is true and what is false. It is sometimes a very subtle thing; for falsehood hides within the clothing of the truth. It is as a speck upon the garment. It soils the very clothing. It causes the fruit to become rotten. But those who have been trained in my righteousness know of these things. You see, some get so caught-up in the Spirit that they have fallen prey to other voices; and these other voices have beckoned to them. These other voices have lured them off the path. These other voices have at first sounded like my own, but they are not. For these voices have become twisted. These voices are so deceptive that they sound like something that would promise you many things.
You must guard yourself in my truth, says the Lord. For the one who is to come, the great deceiver, will attempt to draw you away from Me. He is not the one that many of you think of. For some of you have been taken down a path and led down trails, thinking that you have the answers to these things, but all of this has been hidden.
For in that day as I have said before, many of you will leave the cities. And you will find your way amid the rocks and the trees. There you will be hidden away from his presence. And you will work together on that day. “
