I was in my kitchen, having a snack and before I could finish, I was overtaken by much grief and overwhelming heaviness. These days I’m barely doing much other than spending time with the Lord in His presence and in His word. I’ve known for quite some time of the upcoming ‘storm’ that is coming to our land. I’m reminded time and time again that the only way to withstand is to remain ROOTED in God’s word.

As I prayed for the Lord to give me a message to share with His church, the Holy Spirit led me to John 15:1-8, The Vine and the Branches.

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

Although this passage seems quite self-explanatory, I want to draw your attention to His invitation to remain in Him, Jesus. Only through Him, can we receive the proper instructions, spiritual food, strength for tomorrow, godly wisdom and understanding, boldness, hope. We MUST forsake the things that are taking our attention away from spending more time with the Lord and refocus on Him. We must remove distractions, clear ourselves of all sins/idols in our lives. Not that we didn’t know this before, but we truly MUST take this to heart. We are running out of time from entering His divine protection. Remember, those who are found not to be producing any fruit, will be cut off, thrown into the fire. But if we are in Christ, we can bring our petitions and requests to Him and He will respond according to His will.

Not sure if any of you here have listened to any of Pastor Dana Coverstone’s dreams. There is a particular one, that the Holy Spirit said to me it refers to Canada. Here’s the link to it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n30mbkuQBFA. It’s the one that involves the maple tree. When the gardener in the dream (God) hammered the tap into the tree, he said a watery-pulp started to flow out which then turned into blood. As the large bucket filled up, frothed and then begin to overflow, the blood spelled out the words, ‘GUILTY AS CHARGED’. I believe the Lord has tested the condition of our country and found that we’ve gone from leading a spirit-filled life to one that is more according to the flesh. We must repent at once and turn away from any wickedness. It’s not the first time that the Lord highlights to me, the sins that have infiltrated the church. It is imperative that we take this word to heart and make all the necessary changes. I believe there is hope for our nation, in the arms of our Lord, but many will not grasp what the Spirit has been trying to say these past few months until the shakings and the time of testing begins. At that point, the only option will be to endure ‘til the end. In Pastor D. Coverstone’s vision following the maple tree dream, he saw an elderly woman that was very pale and near death. I believe the woman represented the church in a state of almost total defeat. But it is in our weaknesses that we are made strong. When the gentleman figure (God) picked up the woman, held her close to his chest and then started breathing life into her, she began to revive. God’s intervention, when the church hits rock bottom will bring new life into His church. But we must fully listen to His instructions to remain braced and occupied until He comes.

The Holy Spirit has been stirring in me a strong desire to address Jesus’ coming. For many have gotten too comfortable with the idea that Jesus is going to return to rapture His bride BEFORE things get hard/difficult in the world. This is NOT correct. Did God spare His own son from the cross? No! Jesus tells us that we are not better than Him and we will endure sufferings here on earth, for His sake. Please refrain from lashing out to this post, if you disagree with what I am sharing. Do take your questions to the Lord in prayer and the Holy Spirit will grant you His full interpretation. The point that I need to address here is that we have to rid ourselves of this comfort that no persecution will come our way, that we will be out of here before things become difficult. We have to remain in a state of humility and reverence before our Heavenly Father and rooted in His Word, like He asked us. He was very clear that aside from staying close to Him and abiding in His Word, that there will be no other way to survive the storm that will be heading our way. So once again, I exhort you all, brothers and sisters to remain in Jesus, our vine and to continue to work for Him and producing much fruit. If you examine yourself and find that you have not been following the Lord as closely as He’s been wanting you to, repent and start living for Him. For soon, all the things of this world will fade away, but His word will remain forever.

Matthew 6:19-20
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
