The Sun Did Not Rise

In a dream vision given by the Holy Spirit, I saw a family awaken at a later morning hour—it was probably a weekend or vacation—and get started with their morning routines. As the mother was going about the house and doing her duties, she looked outside the window only to notice how dark it was. It was already 10 AM, and it appeared as if the sun had not yet risen.
Suddenly, a foreknowledge of something terrible to come entered her awareness. She stopped her activities. Quickly, she gathered her family together and warned them. “Prepare for a big earthquake! It’s going to happen very soon.” And then she and her family went about the house, securing items to keep them from sliding, falling, crashing, and breaking. What if the earth shook so hard that their own bodies, not just the furniture, slid and crashed? Only God could truly protect them and keep the walls and roof from collapsing. She prayed for God’s mercy and protection over herself, her family, and her property.
6 He shakes the earth from its place
and makes its pillars tremble.
7 He speaks to the sun and it does not shine;
he seals off the light of the stars.
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
The stars of heaven and their constellations
will not show their light.
The rising sun will be darkened
and the moon will not give its light.
“All the shining lights in the heavens
I will darken over you
And will set darkness on your land,”
Declares the Lord God.
“It will come about in that day,” declares the Lord God,
“That I will make the sun go down at noon
And make the earth dark in broad daylight.”
“But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”
“There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.”
‘The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood,
Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.
And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;
17 The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” 18 Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since mankind has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. 19 The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. 20 Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. 21 From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.
