The Resolution of My Dilemma Concerning Vaccines

Author’s Note: It is the author’s firm conviction that the claims and assertions of modern-day “science” concerning the nature of our earth and the cosmos are flawed, and fatally so, because they are completely at odds with what the Word of God itself has to say about these matters. As such, the author no longer holds to the mainstream “scientific” narrative on this subject inasmuch as it contradicts the scriptural narrative.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

May grace and peace be multiplied to you from the heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In the early days of this coronavirus pandemic (irrespective of whether you believe there is one or not), when I first began to witness the subject of vaccines rise up as a matter of division in the body of Christ and was confronted with the claims of several in the prophetic community that the vaccines that were going to be manufactured as protection against this pandemic had something to do with the mark of the beast if they were not the ultimate mark itself, I began to pray and seek the Lord my God for wisdom and understanding in this matter.

I did have some data points about vaccination and vaccines, and I presented my data points to the Lord:

  1. I knew several family members who had been vaccinated in their childhood, including myself. From my point of view (which, even at best, was incomplete and imperfect), we were all healthy and had no discernible side effects because of the vaccines we were given.
  2. I knew of at least one family member who had been vaccinated as a child, and this person, in my judgment (which was again, not perfect), exhibited mild symptoms of being on the higher end of the autism spectrum (perhaps, Asperger’s syndrome).
  3. I knew of a family friend crippled in one leg, who I am told was not vaccinated against polio and had become crippled as a result of contracting the disease.

As you can see, my data points did not conclusively favor either the pro-vaccine position or the anti-vaccine position. I was unable to come to any conclusion in this matter from listening to the arguments of pro-vaxxers and anti-vaxxers. Instead, they all left me disillusioned and confused.

So I did the only thing I could think of doing and went to the Lord himself to ask him what he thought of the whole matter. There were two ways before me: to be pro-vaccines or to be anti-vaccines. I had to be in one camp or the other. One camp apparently was in the right; the other was in the wrong. But I didn’t know which was which.

I expressed my dilemma to the Lord: Which camp is right? Should I be pro-vaccines or anti-vaccines? When I did so, I fully expected the Lord to be either pro-vaccines or anti-vaccines. And I expected an answer along those lines.

Well, my prayers seemed to come up empty, because I didn’t get an immediate answer. I was frustrated at not being able to arrive at a conclusion, yet I chose to hope that now that I’d poured out my concern to the Lord, he would show me the way ahead.

Not long after this, I found myself reading the Word. And I was in Psalm 118.

I began reading it as just any other passage of scripture. That was until one verse suddenly seemed to stand out to me. I read it once. And I stopped. Then I looked at it again.

And in that moment, my mind was opened up to understand the scripture; I received clarity in my spirit, and a peace settled in my heart, and I knew the Lord had given me his answer to my dilemma. Hallelujah! Praise be unto you, Father!

Here is that scripture (Ps. 118:8):

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.

And the Lord was generous in that he gave me a confirmation in the very next verse (Ps. 118:9):

It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in nobles.

I received this word last year, and as this was a personal word from the Lord to me, I had no intention of going public with it, but I have also repeatedly felt impressed in my spirit that others need to hear it. Now, therefore, let him who is able to receive this word, receive it.
