The Recruiter’s Call

In a dream vision in the Spirit, I was in the body of a woman who received a telephone call from a military recruiter. Since she was a woman in advanced middle age, and nearly obese, she was surprised to receive such a call. She laughed at the recruiter’s effort, saying, “I can’t even run two miles. Come to think of it, I can’t even run one mile.” The recruiter said, “We won’t make you do that.” Then the woman wondered what kind of army would recruit people who were older, out of shape, and couldn’t run.

Then the woman told the recruiter, “I’m glad you are trying to recruit people because there’s going to be a war.” She walked over to the sliding glass door of her house and saw the sky suddenly darken in strange colors—tones of burgundy, maroon, and rust brown. “The Russians will invade from the East, and the Chinese from the West.”

Upon waking from the dream vision, I asked the Holy Spirit for its meaning.

The dream portends both physical war and spiritual war. The recruiter figure is calling out to God’s End Time Army, which will use people of all ages and abilities, to wage spiritual war in a time of physical war, a war for which America’s military and people are not adequately prepared.

2 Corinthians 10:4
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Jeremiah 5:15-19 (KJV)
15 Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the Lord: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.

16 Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.

17 And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.

18 Nevertheless in those days, saith the Lord, I will not make a full end with you.

19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your’s.

Joel 2:28-32 (KJV)
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
