The Nuclear Case

(Dream received March 14th 2016)

The dream was short but extremely vivid. I dreamt I was looking at a nuclear device and the word ‘Esther’ was written on it in red letters. The word was in place of where you’d usually see the countdown to the actual explosion. In the dream I understood that I was on the ‘nuclear case;’ I was on the case to stop the bomb from going off. I knew the word ‘Esther’ was the key to solving the case. I thought to myself that I’d note that word as the ‘key’ to the case, so I could look back on it later and research/investigate to discover its significance.

Dream Comment:

I had this dream on March 14th 2014 but sent it to 444News because I believe it’s as relevant for the current time as it was then, perhaps far more so.

The dream is obviously a serious one because it reveals that a nuclear bomb could be fired or detonated somewhere in the world in the coming years. But I believe it is also a hopeful and encouraging dream. When it appeared as though Israel was doomed, Esther interceded to the king (Esth. 7:3) and so God brought salvation when it looked like it was ‘all over.’ In the world today it prophetically looks like it’s all ‘over.’ It appears like very little can be done about the grave state of things. But we know that while our God is a God of justice and judgment (1 Pet. 4:17), He is also a God of great mercy and hope; and my favourite saying is “Where there’s time, there’s hope!” There’s hope because God still allows and calls us to intercede today (Ezk. 22:30), and hope because our Saviour would far rather save than bring great judgment. After all, the Bible says that the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them! (Luke 9:56). So if you feel led, please pray that God would show great mercy and prevent any nuclear event or detonation in the future. Please pray that the nations would turn from their ways, acknowledge Him, and seek His grace while it may be found! God bless.

Jonah 3v8-10:

‘Furthermore, let both man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and have everyone call out earnestly to God. Let each one turn from his evil ways and from the violence in his hands. Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His fierce anger, so that we will not perish.”

When God saw their actions—that they had turned from their evil ways—He relented from the disaster He had threatened to bring upon them.’
