The Multiplying Eggs

In a flash dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me inside the upper compartment of a chicken coop, one of the small ones that can house up to six hens but really should house only three. Though this particular coop housed only a single hen, a Black Copper Maran, the upper level with the nesting boxes showed a clutch of at least 10 chocolate brown eggs. I wondered how one hen had quickly laid so many eggs before the homesteader had time to collect them.
When I awoke, I asked the Holy Spirit to explain the vision to me. “When the famine comes,” He said, “in the homes of some believers, God will multiply the food.” This message gave me hope, but He emphasized how important it is to prepare by having wholesome food items ready for God to multiply. “In the vision, the coop already housed a chicken,” He explained. “The hen had already laid an egg. God and His angels had something there to work with.” The Holy Spirit reminded me of how in Proverbs 21:31 it says, “The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord.” So, brethren in Christ, let’s do our part by making our households ready with wholesome food items for God’s miraculous multiplication.
