The light recedes, darkness encroaches

I am a daughter of the King, new to receiving impressions of the Holy Spirit, I will call them, during my quiet time. Please have grace as I navigate this new fold in my faith. This was a stern, loving rebuke given to me by the Spirit for personal reasons, however, I believe it may also bless you if you receive it with humility.
“Bearing fruit in keeping with repentance is not some obsolete task that I require of my children. It is for your benefit, young one. I don’t ask things of you for my own gain. I am not the God of waywardness. There is purpose behind and in the action, just as I am in you, behind you, and before you- all to bring about different purposes and outcomes. Can you perceive My ways? Then do not go forth thinking you know the end from the beginning. Only I know. Be still and know that I am God. Know in your mind and your actions that there is none greater- and that anyone who exalts themselves against the knowledge of me is an abomination in My holy sight. Refuse to walk with a gape. You need not stagger your way into My dwelling. I am the one who makes your paths straight. I am the one who calls you to the straight and narrow. I say this to you ‘This is the way, walk in it’ if you begin to lean. True expectancy causes you to be outstretched forward, not in any other direction. The time you are in demands a sturdiness of stance. Feet shod with the sandals of readiness, not slippers of laziness. They way before you is lit, walk it, to the beat of My Spirit that resides in you. Marvelous light! Do not be the dimmer of your own candle. Recalcitrant and residual pieces are not your portion. I am the God of first fruits. The choicest of all the harvest. Won’t you join Me, my daughter? To bear the prime picks of all that was sown? Reap, reap now! The light recedes, darkness encroaches.”
