THE HORSE OF FAMINE – Stephen Hanson

Stephen Hanson

5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Rev. 6

“For the world’s stage is set in motion; it is set in motion for the riders of the four horsemen. You have seen perils and you have seen famine, and yet you have also experienced war. But a great famine is coming, for the world’s stage will teeter on its edge. For at that time the world’s resources will begin to run out. The monetary system will collapse, and yet the wealthy will have had their resources that will enable them to make it through those tough times. But man has always trusted in mammon instead of putting his full trust and faith in Me.

There is coming a great disruption that will alter the world trade market. For the balance of power will be shifted. The almighty dollar will dwindle in its importance and it will lose its favorable rating on the world’s stage. At that time the dow will plummet and it will fall to an all time low.

But I have always been a Father to my children. I replenished the oil with Elisha when he came to live with the widow and her son. But be prepared, for the times ahead will be lean. ”

12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah. 1 Kings 17
