The Great Shaking and the Great Outpouring

[This is the message that I referenced in my last post, “The Harlot Exposed“. I have been feeling uneasy about the first part of this message, but Scripture which I have included below, does affirm the emotion that God is revealing to us here. I think that we must see the dramatic extremes of emotion God is showing us so that we know that He is indeed deeply affected by both the love and obedience that His children show Him and the despising and disobedience that many others show Him.]

My daughter, I have loved you with an everlasting love. Thank you for being obedient to my call. Lord, you are thanking me? I am the one to be thanking you for your amazing love and redemption and for granting me the great privilege of communing with you. My daughter, I thank you because I am truly grateful for your heart of love, and I am grateful for all those who love me and keep my commandments. Yes, it is true that by my power they have been raised up out of the mire of sin, and yet, of their own free will they have chosen to follow me and love me. I poured out my life blood for the world and I have implored sinners to repent! I spent my all for them, and yet they have refused me. This rejection has pierced me deeply and grieved me to the core. I have wept and wept for them. I have implored them to come to me, yet they are dead in their transgressions and sins. Can dead bones live? Lord, you know! Yes, my daughter, dead bones can and will live by my breath of power that I would breathe upon them when you and your fellow servants prophesy over them in these last days. I am oh so very weary of waiting for dead men to look to me and see the redemption of my blood; indeed, they cannot! I am weary of weeping over souls that will not and cannot come to me! I am weary of spending my breath warning those who have no ears to hear and no eyes to see! Therefore, I myself will stretch out my hand and act. I myself will come down by my Holy Spirit with great power. I myself will arouse the dead hearts and open the blind eyes. I will unstop the deaf ears. By my servants the prophets, I will give them my words that will be life to their hearts. Then they will mourn over their sin and will be aghast at the stubbornness of their ways. They will turn to me and plead with me to cover them with my blood. Then I will be vindicated for my sacrifice, and I will indeed have my people whom I have chosen. Thus saith the LORD! I am Yehushua, the Lamb of God who has not been lifted up in vain! All those I have written in my Book of Life, I will indeed have unto myself! I have heard your prayers for my people and for mercy upon lost souls. I have heard your groanings for those who have no ears to hear. Therefore, I will indeed act for my own name’s sake! Lord, will this great outpouring of your Spirit coincide with any of your specific judgments? Yes, my daughter, for at the time of the great quake, I will pour out my Spirit in great fullness. What great quake, Lord? The one that cooresponds with the darkness? No, my daughter; that quake begins my wrath. There will be a quake in the U.S. that will cause people to wake up. It will be a quake of judgment on my people—a shaking of their inner being. At the time of this quake, I will be pouring out my Spirit in great measure on my people—not only to awake the dead (the spiritual dead) but to greatly endow my servants with power to heal and to overcome demons and to do many miracles in my Name. Many will be drawn to me in these signs and wonders of love and grace that I am sending. Lord, will this quake be commencing the fourth seal? Yes, my daughter, and it will also spiral many other disasters such as pestilences and wars. (I sense in my spirit that this earthquake is to strike southern California and that other quakes will also follow.)

Tell my people that I am done with the sin of this nation. Your time to repent is up! You will either repent now, or you will suffer the consequences of your apathy and stubbornness of heart! Those I have called will repent indeed, but some through a great slew of tribulation! If you would enjoy my peace and my presence and avoid this great suffering, then come to me now, my people, for I do not enjoy and or delight in disciplining my children! My tears are falling for you; my heart is grieving for you. But to those who are obeying my commands and who are delighting myself in me, I am rejoicing! I am delighting in you and comforting my heart on account of you! Great indeed is your reward in heaven! My beloved and precious bride, enjoy your master’s happiness!

I was asking the Lord when we might expect this great Holy Spirit outpouring, and I was prompted to look up the phrase, “In the spring” and “In the summer” and here are some Scriptures that stood out:

2 Samuel 11:1: “In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war…” (There are multiple references of spring in the context of military invasions.)

James 5:7 (NIV): “Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.”

Zechariah 10:1: “Ask rain from the LORD in the season of the spring rain, from the LORD who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.”

Daniel 2:35: “Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.”

Ezekiel 37:1-14: “The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. And he said to me, ‘Son of man, can these bones live?’ And I answered, ‘O Lord GOD, you know.’ Then he said to me, ‘Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. And I will lay sinews upon you, and will cause flesh to come upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am the LORD.’

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a sound, and behold, a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them. But there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, Thus says the Lord GOD: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’ So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Then he said to me, ‘Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, “Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.” Therefore prophesy, and say to them, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD.’”

Matthew 24:7-14: “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

Revelation 6:7-8: “When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, ‘Come!’ And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.”

2 Kings 8:16-19: “In the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab, king of Israel, when Jehoshaphat was king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, began to reign. He was thirty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. Yet the LORD was not willing to destroy Judah, for the sake of David his servant, since he promised to give a lamp to him and to his sons forever.” (The Spirit is revealing here that this passage represents the church, led by wicked shepherds who are following after other wicked shepherds who have gone before them rather than following after Jesus Christ and His Spirit; yet, in spite of the wickedness that is in the church, God will not utterly destroy her for the sake of Jesus.)

John 6:39: “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.”

Revelation 12:13-17: “When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle [Ex 19:4, Deut 32:10-12, Is 40:31], so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.” (The Lord led me to this passage, and I believe He wants to show its parallels to the message He has given above. The imagery here is a reference to the church overcoming in the midst of the Great Tribulation by the Holy Spirit lifting her up above the tribulations in His power–not taking her out of them but enabling her to resist the devil, even as Jesus did in the midst of His wilderness testing. It is in the midst of the suffering, loneliness, scarcity and deprivation of the wilderness that God most shows Himself powerful to His people! Yet while wilderness afflictions do not overcome her, the devil will not give up on her but will–as surely as Jesus is speaking His Word of truth with the sword of His mouth through His prophets–pour out a flood of lies from his mouth. It is possible that these spiritual realities will also be physically demonstrated by the church being physically carried off into the wilderness for protection [as some of our prophets have said] and in a real flood that is swallowed up by a real fissure in the earth.)

It struck me in a unique way today that the Harlot of Revelation 17 is introduced as being in a wilderness; I would love to hear other people’s take on this.

Revelation 17:3: “And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was full of blasphemous names, and it had seven heads and ten horns.”

Daniel 9:26 (NLT): “After this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the Anointed One will be killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the very end.”

Matthew 25:21 (NIV): “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!‘”

Zephaniah 3:17: “The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.”

All Scriptures are in the ESV unless otherwise noted.
