THE GREAT KING OF YOUR LAND WILL FALL ON THAT DAY

1/15/19

5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the Lord.7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.10 And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. 1 Samuel 8

“The great king of your land will fall on that day. For he was not chosen to make your land great again. He was not chosen by Me, says the Lord. For you wanted a king and now you’ve had him. And so now you will reap the rewards of your decision. Are you satisfied? You would follow someone who would bring your land down to the grave. You would follow someone who would create chaos instead of righteous acts and deeds. Those are decisions that you will have to live with. Those are choices that you must live with. Some thought he was to be a Cyrus over you, but you were fooled by the one who prophesied this. Let Me ask this of you now: ‘Has he brought plenty to your land? Has he increased your goods and services? Are you now honored among the other lands around you? You are now weighed in the balances. Your national treasury will be depleted on that day. Even your allies will not help you on that day. For you would rather help the rich than the poor. You would rather elevate things for your own causes. You would rather follow a man than Me. But go ahead with the promises that have been made. I am certain that they will all be fulfilled. ”
