10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1 Cor. 1
“In the coming days and months this nation will be turned upside down. For the ordeals that have been going on for some time now will culminate in a tragic scene. Those things that have been going on concerning the Russian infiltration into the affairs of the United States will be plainly seen by all. For your news reports have seen how some have twisted this thing and that one, and truth has become a lie to some. This entire situation will become something that causes your time of Watergate to appear as child’s play.
But you see, this is all a part of how the enemy has divided your land. You once were united, but now every faction is at work among your members. No more are you to be called a United States. For you were birthed as “one” but time after time, you have shown how hatred and anger has caused you to lash out at each other.
For it has been black against white. It has been rich against poor. It has been Republican against Democrat. It has been one thing against another for some time now, and it has brought about bloodshed even among those of your own kind.
Even in your own churches, you are divided about this issue or that one. You argue about many things, and you are left with only the bitterness in your own heart. You think that your lofty prayers will help you. You think that your great conservative values will rise to a place of righteousness! But I tell you that they are only as filthy rags to Me!
You will face the brunt of your divisions. You will find out soon enough how divided you are. And then at that time, it won’t be just a matter of the issues that you are divided about. Then your great land will be split right down the middle. ”
