The Great Deception

A Voice Shouting

July 9, 2026

Over the past few weeks, I have shared information on multiple topics, including the dangers of 501c3 churches, church membership, and the infiltration that has occurred as a result. I can’t shout loud enough about how high, how far, and how deep this runs through the churches today. It is estimated that approximately 99% of American churches have incorporated as a 501c3, and I’d like to share why this practice is so deceptive.

The primary reason for churches to incorporate as a 501c3 is to gain non-exempt tax status with the State. Sounds fine so far, but the problem is that they already enjoy that non-exempt status without doing anything. Here is a quote from Steve Nestor, a retired Senior Officer of the IR$:

I am not the only IR$ employee who’s wondered why churches go to the g0vernmnt and seek permission to be exempted from a tax they didn’t owe to begin with, and to seek a tax deductible status that they’ve always had anyway. Many of us [other of his fellow IR$ employees] have marveled [been surprised] at how church leaders want to be regulated and controlled by an agency of g0vernmnt that most Americans have prayed would just get out of their lives. Churches are in an amazingly unique position, but they don’t seem to know or appreciate the implications of what it would mean to be free of g0vernment control.

So, if a church was already tax-exempt, why have so many gone down this road? Follow the money! When they offer their constituents (members) the ability to write-off donations as a tax deductible contribution, more money flows into the coffers of the church. It’s an enticement offered to church-goers to keep the money flowing. There is simply no other reason to incorporate. This is pure greed. Let’s take a look at some scripture to see what the bible say about this:

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”

Ephesians 5:5 You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

To better understand how problematic this is, let’s look at the structure of a corporation. When church leader signs/registers the church to become a corporation they enter into a binding contract that does the following:

  • The State becomes the sovereign head over the church upon incorporation.

  • The church submits to the jurisdiction of the State.

  • The church is licensed and regulated by the State.

  • The church is subject to the laws of the State and all the limitations thereof.

  • The church gives up its constitutional rights (including free speech).

  • The church becomes an artificial person/entity (look up the legal definition of a corporation).

  • The church is a privilege granted by the State.

  • The church, now a corporation, is created for the benefit of the public.

  • The State can take away the assets of the church (land, building, etc) upon violating the terms of the agreement.

  • It’s virtually impossible to dissolve corporate status once it’s established. The State will simply confiscate the assets should a church attempt to free itself.

What did the Apostle Paul say about this type of relationship? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15) “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?” Is this not an unholy alliance between church and statewhereby money is the primary driver? Is it a stretch to say the 501c3 church is committing fornication with the StateThe definition of fornication is to consort with women who provide sex for money”. Think about it…commingling in exchange for financial favors. (Revelation 18:9) “And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning.”

Furthermore, church leaders have entered into an agreement which limits the topics they can speak about to the congregation: (1) It waives its rights to free speech, (2) it waives its rights to freedom of religion, (3) it waives its rights to influence legislators and the legislation they create, and (4) it waives its constitutional rights. It’s the reason you almost never hear sermons on abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, or other pertinent social/moral issues. I could go on and on but you get the point (DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH)The churches under 501C3 are controlled by the State and, thereforeare limited by what can and can not be said.

The most frightening part of all this is that church leaders have transferred the sovereignty of the church from Jesus to the State. (Ephesians 5:23) For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. When a church incorporates, it becomes registered, licensed, and governed under the jurisdiction of the State. The headship is handed over to the State, religious freedom is surrendered, and slavery is established.

Let’s now take a look at how church membership links into this mess. There has been an aggressive movement to get church-goers to become official members of the church. Once again, as born-again believers we are already members of the church. How so?

(Ephesians 5:30) “And we are members of his body.

(Ephesians 1:23) And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.”

Born-again believers are members of the body of Christ…and the church is Christ’s body. By default, we are members of the church So, why are we being enticed to become members of a church that we are already members of (according to scripture)? I believe the answer to this is part of the great deception. The 501c3 Church is one of the most unrecognized deceptions in church history. They want you to become part of (associated with) this unholy allianceBy agreeing to become an enrolled member, you are acknowledging the bullet points mentioned above and are uniting yourself to this scheme. In short, you are agreeing to enter into this union between church and state.

Let’s take this one step further to see where this might be headed and how dangerous this can become. As God’s judgment on the nations (and Mystery Babylon) intensifies, what do you think the church leaders will do when state officials assemble the Clergy Resp0nse Teams together and instructs them to submit to governing authorities (1 Peter 2:13 and Romans 13:1-2). What if church leaders are told to encourage the flock to take the next jab because it’s in the best interest of the public? Do you think pastors will resist or comply? And, when most comply, do you think it is more likely or less likely that the church members will too?

am just a messenger here. A watchman that can’t sit on the sidelines while my brothers and sisters are being fooled into participating in one of the greatest deceptions of all-time. Church leaders will sell this as nothing more than a tax benefit opportunity, but it’s SO much more than that. I can’t help but think of the following verse which sums this up perfectly as Paul warns us not to fall for these lies:

Ephesians 4:14 “Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.”

Our bibles are full of warnings to be alert, awake, and on-guard.

1 Thessalonians 5:6 So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.”

Ask the Lord for clarity and understanding as to how to proceed so that you don’t get caught up in this web of deceptionMay God’s grace be with you all.
