THE FINISH LINE

Dream received Monday, February 20, 2023, a little before 7:30am
SCENE 1:
My son was in training for an important RACE. He was attending an academy or school whose students participated in this very prestigious equestrian race. My son and his horse spent hours and hours each day perfecting their skills to run the race well.
I found myself in conversation with a school official who was explaining to me all the fees involved for the race and the use of their training facilities. It was quite an exorbitant amount. I explained that I had most of the money saved up but was a little bit short. I wasn’t sure if I would have the entire amount by Race Day. I was willing to show him a bank statement to prove what I already had in the bank and assured him that the remaining payment due would be paid shortly after the race. The school official made it clear this would not be acceptable. ALL PAYMENT must be paid in full before the day of the race.
SCENE 2:
At first, I wasn’t sure if this was a dream within a dream, as the scene completely changed. I was viewing the front of a beautiful building with Grecian columns. I got the impression that it was a church or a chapel with very impressive front doors. Actually, six doors, with two larger center doors, flanked on either side by a set of slightly smaller doors. They were dull gray in color but very ornate with what appeared to be beautiful hand carvings in the wood.
Suddenly, a small bird swooped down. Everywhere it flew the clarity and beauty of the scenery was enhanced to very bright, intense colors. The landscaping around the front of the building blossomed to new life. Then the bird started to peck at the massive doors until you could begin to see a lighter color show through from underneath. The little bird worked so quickly, it reminded me of the Woody Woodpecker cartoons I watched as a child . . . definitely in FAST-FORWARD motion. After a while, you could tell that the doors were not wood at all, but made of beautiful, polished IVORY that had been hidden behind the paint. The carvings now revealed were absolutely stunning . . . no doubt made by a master-craftsman. The bird was almost finished with its task. Only a very tiny bit of paint remained to be removed from one of the center doors. (I remember worrying that the bird might get tired and fly away before the doors were finished.) Then the scene changed abruptly.
SCENE 3:
It was RACE DAY, and my boy was READY! His horse was very fleet of foot and responded to the gentlest movement of the reins as my son directed him. The two sped forward from the starting gate with a burst of energy . . . my son leaning forward over the horses back . . . forming such a close bond that you could not tell where the horse stopped, and he began. Their bodies worked and moved as one. The race was not a sprint but a long race of endurance with many obstacles to overcome. (It reminded me of the movie “Hidalgo” about an American mustang competing in a race against finely bred Arabian horses.)
In my dream, I seemed to be observing the entire race from the air and I was cheering for my son and his horse as they overcame every obstacle. As all those still in the race approached the finish line, many horses and their riders could be seen preparing to make their final dash. As they all came to the crest of the final hill, they saw another obstacle. Directly in front of them was what looked to be an interstate highway several lanes wide and covered with traffic from either direction. This last and final obstacle seemed to be impassable. I watched as the group of horses & riders made their decisions . . . turning either to the right or to the left in search of the nearest CROSSOVER. But to my utter horror, my son and his horse continued their mad dash forward. I wanted to close my eyes because I did not want to see what I perceived was the inevitable. My heart sank in despair.
Then, a MIRACLE happened! I saw that same little bird flying beside my son. It seemed to be whispering something in his ear. Then it flew forward and whispered something in the horse’s ear. Suddenly, the horse TOOK FLIGHT! It cleared the last obstacle with ease and landed safely on the other side. I watched in amazement as they successfully crossed THE FINISH LINE!
Oh, my dear brothers and sisters, I am weeping as I type this. The day my son finished his race . . . when we had just received the call that he was in critical condition and not expected to make it through the night . . . this Mama was praying! The Holy Spirit whispered in my ear a simple question, “Do you trust Me?” Quite possibly, my son was also hearing a gentle whisper as he faced the last and most terrifying obstacle that stood between him and the finish line. I believe the Holy Spirit said to him, “TRUST ME!” I know without a doubt that my son’s spirit TOOK FLIGHT as he crossed over to his eternal home.
That moment is coming soon for EVERYONE! The finish line is in sight! The culmination of this age is upon us. Jesus is coming and He is preparing His bride, His church to be ready to meet Him. Scene 2 is an indication of how far along the purification process has come. Only a tiny bit of work remaining before those beautiful ivory doors will be revealed in all their splendor . . . representing the restoration and purification of the true church . . . the body of Christ. All the layers of dull gray paint will be completely stripped away ( representing sin) . . . and the pure and spotless Bride of Christ will be seen.
So many of us who have been in training (Scene 1) desire to know all the details of how these end-time events will play out. I am guilty of trying to put together every puzzle piece I find. We must realize that we may never know all the answers to our questions of When & Where & Why & How events to come will take place. We must WALK BY FAITH! Keep our eyes on Jesus! Heed the Holy Spirit when He whispers, “Trust Me.” Those with ears to hear will TAKE FLIGHT!
Some who are reading this post may be asking yourself “What in the world is she talking about?” If that is you, please seek the Lord for understanding. Time is so short. Call out to Him . . . He will hear you. If you have not asked Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Savior, please do not delay any longer. No one is promised tomorrow. Suddenlies happen! My son was hospitalized one day and gone to be with Jesus the next. Do not be foolish thinking you have all the time in the world! Scene 1 of this dream referenced a PAYMENT DUE. My friend, that has already been PAID IN FULL by the precious blood which Jesus Christ shed on the cross of Calvary for ALL mankind. That includes YOU! But you must believe on Him and accept His sacrifice. You must confess and repent of your sins and ask for His forgiveness. Ask Him to be your Lord and Savior and make your decision to live for Him with the remainder of your life . . . no matter how short or how long that may be. He loves you, He died for you! He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. He is the ONLY WAY to heaven. I beg you Now to CHOOSE LIFE! Putting it off until later will also be considered YOUR CHOICE! Put your trust in Him today. TODAY is the day of salvation. And when you come to the end of your race, He will welcome you HOME with open arms as you cross THE FINISH LINE!
