We are all aware the Jesus is the Passover lamb…who takes away the sin of the world…Paul states:

1st Corinthians 5:7 For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

John 1:29 John the Baptist said “Behold [Jesus], the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
But I have never heard anyone speak about the “Feast of First Fruits” one year old lamb, who is without blemish that is offered to the LORD on this feast day. Is this Jesus again? is Jesus both lambs? The Passover Lamb and the “feast of 1st fruits” lamb as stated below?

Lev 23:10 When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the FIRSTFRUITS of your harvest to the priest, 11 and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a MALE lamb a year old WITHOUT BLEMISH as a burnt offering to the Lord.

The above “lamb” is without Blemish and is offered to the LORD on this feast day…I have considered who this “FIRSTFRUITS” lamb might represent…see if this rings a bell.

Revelation 14:4 These [144,000] are they that follow the Lamb [Jesus] whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, to be the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and unto the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no lie: they are WITHOUT BLEMISH.

I was wondering if this Leviticus 23:12 “Lamb without BLEMISH”, who is offered to the LORD on this feast day AND the Rev 14 – 144,000 who are FIRSTFRUITS WITHOUT BLEMISH are related – their description is the same in both sets of verses.

Could the Leviticus 23:12 FIRSTFRUITS LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH be the same as the Rev 14:4-5 FIRSTFRUITS WITHOUT BLEMISH?

Are these references to “first fruits referring to the same group? I say it sure appears so.

If so, what is the biblically correct day for this Feast of First Fruits? This is a hotly debated question…

The Jews say Nisan 16.

The Christians say that it’s the Sunday after Passover – like Resurrection [Easter] Sunday – Today, April 17, 2022.

These are my thoughts…I agree with the Dead Sea Scroll Calendar people and the Enoch Calendar folks who put the Feast of First Fruits AFTER the 7 days of Unleavened bread. However, I do not believe the date is always fixed on Nisan 26 as these people do.

The way that I would calculate the Feast of First Fruits would be the first Sunday AFTER the last day of Unleavened Bread – which for 2022 is April 24 or Nisan 23 this year.

What would happen on this day of the Feast of First Fruits – This would seem to be the day the Rev 14 – 144,000 would be redeemed from mankind as “First Fruits” who are without Blemish – EXACTLY how they are described in Leviticus 23:10-12.

Essentially in a nut-shell – This:

The Revelation 14:4-5 144,000 equates to the one-year old lamb from Leviticus 23:10-12. And, if we can correctly determine the day for this feast – then we would know when the 144,000 are taken by the LORD as a first-fruits offering. This is the day the watchmen have been waiting for !
