The fate of the nation rest in the hands of those called by His Name

When pushed into a corner, you pray; but when the crisis is over you scatter like sheep without a shepherd, returning to your old way of life, ignoring God, evil reigns and man’ brief encounter with godliness all too soon forgotten.

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The fate of the nation rest in the hands of those called by His Name; those that will humble themselves, pray, seek His face and turn from their wicked ways.

The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth. God hears those who have a heart of love for His Son. Those who understand their weakness, their wickedness and are humble enough to call upon God in their moment of trial and tribulation, seeking His forgiveness. Those that recognize their own sin as well as the sin of the nation… and grieve. Those who are honest and truthful enough to get honest and truthful with God.

O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, and speak truth in his heart. Those who do not slander with their tongue,  nor do evil to his neighbor, nor take up a reproach against his friend; in whose eyes a reprobate is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; He swears to his own hurt and does not change; he does not put out his money at interest, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.

You church have much for which to repent; America, you have much for which to be ashamed.

Ali is speaking the truth here; let he with an ear hear. To those who doubt – unfortunately, far too many – read God’s word with discernment. I could write volumes on this straight from his word, but even “giving it away” won’t change a “heart of stone into a heart of flesh”.

We are repeatedly TOLD to “seek My (His) face”, but more people seem to focus on the verse “no one has seen My face and lived”. Does “to live” mean the same to God as what men say it means? Read Paul. Or, do you not know that He bears “a two-edged sword, that cuts both ways”? What is the sword? What is the significance of the double edge?

Why is the church judged first? This is REALLY, REALLY, ***REALLY*** important. Jesus repeatedly spoke about this.

While writing this, I’m watching CBS This Morning, and the segment is about a “hard knocks” American restauranteur who caught a few breaks as he was growing up. He knew that he had to do the same, and give back the same way. He has a French Restaurant/cooking school/living space/retreat for former prisoners, drop outs, and addicts and the story is very inspiring.

If this man, who WITHOUT mentioning God, Jesus, or church in that segment, INTRINSICALLY UNDERSTANDS the teachings of Christ to such a great degree, is it any wonder why He first judges those who “CALL THEMSELVES by His name”??? To those who say I speak heresy, read what Jesus told the Centurion, and at the same time said about His own people.

It for THIS reason that “faith WITHOUT works is dead”, for we are “NOT saved by our works”, but we are “JUDGED FOR our works”. Ask yourself, are my “works” done of love, or are they “for my own purposes”? Do I do them because I care for others, or because “I want to be seen”? Jesus spoke very clearly about this.

I’ve already written far more than I planned.

I pray that all would hear, and I pray for all.

    A brother.
