Hear the word of the Lord,
“THE DAYS OF EASE ARE ENDING”
Narrow is the path that leads to righteousness and few shall find it. It’s hard to love thy brother in times of plenty and a time of lack has come quickly of which you have been warned but do not see. By faith my beloved please me, by faith they do follow me. The just, I have called to live by faith. Take my hand my beloveds and do not fear, I shall help you when the morning dawns. Darkness, a thick darkness comes but I AM your light, I AM the way and I light your path as you follow me into the wilderness. Do not look to the left or to the right, do not focus your eyes upon the crashing waves, but lock your eyes with mine and come, follow me.”
And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains
But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
