The Clot that Burst Through Skin

In a dream vision the Holy Spirit placed me into the body of a woman in her mid-20’s who appeared to be a PhD student with teaching fellow responsibilities at a university. She was in a department office and signing out for the day to return home. She did not feel well because her bowels had not been acting normally.
Glad to be done for the day, this woman returned home to rest in her apartment suite in graduate student housing. Her suite mates were Indian women doctoral students, and the women spoke in English with each other about how far along they were on their latest research papers, most linked to economics and the social sciences. Soon I realized that this woman was Indian too. Because her suite mates conversed in English with her, I wondered if she was attending university in either the United States or a British Commonwealth nation. In one of the rooms of the suite, two visiting Indian male graduate students engaged in lively conversation, mostly boasting with each other. Then I began to think the scene was in an Indian city with a prestigious university.
Back in her room, the woman suddenly felt sensations in her left leg, in the inner thigh just above the knee. She observed that that area had turned white. Soon it turned greenish. Before long, a large sore appeared and the skin broke open to reveal a hole. Viewing the quick deterioration of her leg, she called out for help, but the young men in the next room arrogantly kept chatting with each other. They were too full of their own cleverness and ambitious schemes for their futures to drop what they were doing to pay attention to a woman. Her needs could wait until they had finished their conversation. Panicking and furious, the woman screamed at the men, “Shut up! I think I’m dying!”
By this time, an enormous blood clot had emerged from the hole in the woman’s leg. Her body seemed to push it out, as if additional growing clots behind it vied for space in a kind of log jam. The clot resembled a piece of dark chicken liver. The woman sensed she had only minutes, if not seconds left to live, and asked her women roommates to bring over her cell phone so she could call a member of her family to say goodbye. Though her background was Hindu, she did not yet say a prayer. The dream vision ended.
When I awoke, I realized this woman had most probably been vaccinated, as vaccination is increasingly required of university students across the world. I also saw how she had been programmed by her family and culture to obey social norms. She had been pushed to pursue academic achievement—if not choosing the path to materialistic success—and had neglected the needs of her soul for salvation. In only a few hours, all her efforts and dreams, her life and her very soul, had come to naught.
Mark 8:36 (NIV)
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
Revelation 16:2 (NIV)
The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
