Short, fleeting view of what is to come Brief introductory comment: I know so well what is coming, so I do not really need any more confirmations, but Jesus / The Holy Spirit gave me a quick reminder of what it is about. I saw Jesus as a great, exalted figure, hovering over the earth. Under him there was war and destruction to an extent that spread throughout the earth. The destruction was total, but Jesus attracted my eyes and all my attention, so I did not allow myself to be affected or disturbed by all the evil that was happening on earth, despite the extent – everything I managed to grasp with my mind, my heart and mind , was the all-consuming figure of Jesus who somehow pulsed and waved before my eyes. The next moment I saw myself running through the gray-black crowds that roamed around in the middle of the chaos, and I caught as many as I could with my arms, as I ran through the war zone. My arms just got longer and further out to the sides, and eventually the people started to hang on to each other, so I looked like the wings of a Hercules plane, probes hung a mass of people on. I think it was a picture of the last harvest. It’s coming. It’s actually just around the corner, and I feel like I’m walking around here in the village and sort of enjoying the last breaths before it slams. You feel it in your whole body, and it is as if the whole atmosphere is prepared for all the chaos, and that the beautiful and the unique perfection of God’s creation, seems as if standing still waiting for the coming storm. On my morning walk in this country, I have talked to the lambs, heard the brook chime and known Jesus’ presence in our community during the walk. I collect good memories, like a soldier fills his wallet or diary with pictures of his loved ones, and walks through his childhood funnels one last time before the trotting sport to the battlefield. It’s coming! Be prepared!

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”Hebrews 12: 1-3
