Psalm 24: 7 – 10

Lift up your heads, O you gates!

And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord strong and mighty,

The Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O you gates!

Lift up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory?

The Lord of hosts,

He is the King of glory. Selah

This morning the 20th October 2020, I had a very interesting dream. One that I have not stopped thinking about since this morning. I believe the purpose of this dream is to encourage the faithful Church, the Bride of Christ. That the time for her selection is very near.

The dream is thus:

I saw myself seated at a table all by myself. I was having these really strong feelings inside of me that the time had come for me to choose a bride. The time had come for me to finally have a wife. The desire was very strong, more than I have ever felt. The proverbial “biological clock” had ticked, and it was now ringing inside of me. I felt without a shadow of doubt that it was time for me to select the bride, “the one” that I would spending the rest of my life with.

Although I was by myself, I was not alone. I was in a banquet hall full of people. It was like a cocktail party and people were mingling and chatting. It was night time, and we were all inside a hall. It was completely dark outside, but the soft light inside the hall lit up the evening. There was no music or any sound. Or at least I did not hear any. All I could hear were my own thoughts.

The hall was not very large. It was small and cozy, and was well decorated. I did not pay attention to it much. My attention was really not on the hall but on the patrons. Especially the patronesses. They were all well dressed for the occasion in suits and banquet gowns. They all looked completely healthy and very young, like in the early to mid-twenties. Two of my lady friends were there. And they both looked stunningly beautiful.

“It’s got to be her or the other one!” I told myself in my thoughts referring to my desire to select one of them as a bride. They were standing a bit far off from where I was, chatting and mingling with other people. Perhaps like 30 or so feet away.

There was a piece of white paper in front of me. I took the piece of paper and wrote both of their names. The name of the one lady, then a coma, then the name of the other lady. I began thinking and analyzing the two ladies as I looked at what I had written on the white piece of paper.

“This is so difficult!” I remember saying to myself. They were both very appealing to me and I could remember good things about them.

Finally I could not make a decision, and I reclined back in my seat. I closed my eyes and prayed. And I told Jesus to make please make the selection for me.

“Lord, which of the two is your choice?”  I asked prayerfully.

With my eyes now closed inside the dream, a name appeared in front of my eyes. One of the names that I had written on the white piece of paper.  The name “ISABELLA”. After the name appeared, a lady’s shoe of the right side appeared in front of me. It was a blue flat heel “mary-jane” type of shoe. It had a thin gold rim around its mouth and it was studded with many diamonds all around. The shoe was of the right foot. And it was stunningly beautiful. And I knew that the Lord had selected “Isabella” as the one to become the bride.

I opened my eyes still inside the dream. And I was now looking again at the white piece of paper where I wrote the two names. But now there was only one name. The name “ISABELLA”. I looked around the hall, and she was right in front of me about 30 feet away.

The dream end and I woke up.

Upon waking up, I prayed and asked the Lord what the meaning of this dream is. I immediately took my phone and searched for the meaning of the name “Isabella”. The name ISABELLA has several meanings, all which are virtuous and beautiful. I was very shocked and stunned when I read the meanings of this name “Isabella” which until today I had not known.

Below are some of the definitions that I was able to find online:

Meaning of the name “Isabella”:

1.       Derived from the name Isabel, a biblical name from the Hebrew Elisheva, meaning ‘God is perfection’ or ‘God is my oath’. The element meaning ‘god,’ ‘el,’ has been adapted to ‘belle’ or ‘bella,’ meaning ‘beautiful’.

2.       The name Isabella comes from the Hebrew name Elisheba, a form of Elizabeth. Isabella, meaning consecrated or pledged to God, has origins in Italian and Spanish. It is also a form of Isabel and has a rich history in medieval royals.

I tried to recall who the other lady was, and what her name was. But the Lord did not allow me to remember. He name and face vanished as soon as I woke up. Though in the dream I knew her very well.

Meaning of the dream:

I believe that this dream is not about me, but it is about the Lord. He is telling us that the clock has ticked and the bells are about to ring. That is, the final trumpet is about to be blown.

I believe that the Lord is admonishing us to remain faithful and devoted to Him in these last hours before His return. Many are despairing and thinking that the Lord is not keeping His promise. But that is not so. He is about to make is final selection and whisk His bride away.

I wish to encourage all the brides of Christ, and all believers to make themselves ready. To devote themselves even more to the Lord now. For our deliverance is now nearer than when we first believed.

About Isabella:

My first “special friendship” was with a girl called Isabella. We were both 17 years old. She was very beautiful and intelligent. But also she had hip joint problems and many times she walked using clutches. So there I was taking a lady on clutches for a stroll during my holidays away from school. Many times it would be slow and painful. But I enjoyed every bit of that innocent time. During school seasons, we would write letters to each other. After school, they moved away and we lost touch.

This is part of what makes the dream very powerful, at least for me. Because I am sure the Lord is reminding me about FIRST LOVE. The Lord is also telling us about how He loves us, and He wants to walk with us in the midst of our trials and difficulties in this life. That we should keep close to Him.

SOME RELEVANT SCRIPTURES:

No One Knows the Day or Hour

Matthew 24: 36 – 44

36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant

Matthew 24: 45 – 51

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Loveless Church

Revelation 2: 1 -7

“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write,

‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” ’

The Faithful Church

Revelation 3: 7 – 13

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

13 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

“Mighty Father help us to know just how much You love us, how close You desire to walk with us even in the pains and struggles of this life. In Jesus Name, Amen!”

I hope this post encourages you and makes you want to devote completely and live only for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your brother in Christ, William.

In humble service of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
