Write this down, my daughter. I have loved you with an everlasting love, and I love all my people with an unshakable love. I have called you as sheep to go out among wolves, yet you must not fear. Many of you have been feeling the enemy breathing down your necks. You have been fighting fear and depression. You have had disturbing dreams and nightmares. My daughter, do not let these things define your hearts. You must not dwell on them. Purify yourself, for I am pure (Leviticus 11:44, 1 Peter 1:16). “Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded” (James 4:8). Let not the darkness overcome my light but fill yourselves with the light of my Word; then, darkness will never overcome you, for you are true light in the LORD (Ephesians 5:8). You are children of light, for I am light (1 Thessalonians 5:5). I do not give you cause to fear; anything that gives you cause to fear is of the Evil One. I am not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). Anything that gives you cause for confusion is also of the Evil One. When you feel dismayed, run to me. Pour out your cause upon me and fill your hearts with my Word of truth. Renew your minds with Scripture (Romans 12:2). I am He who overcomes all confusion, all darkness, all violence, all despair. Do not worry about what is about to come upon the world or about your own futures, for I will guide you. I will take you by the hand; I will mount you up on wings as eagles (Isaiah 40:31). I will make clear the path before you, and I will use you in my will to accomplish my purposes for the earth. I have predestined all things that you are to do ahead of time, before the creation of the world (Ephesians 2:10), so do not fear or worry about them; I will make clear to you your calling. No hair of your head can perish without my consent (Luke 21:18) and no enemy can obtain permission to conquer you without my consent. You will accomplish the purpose for which I have called you! I am the LORD! Therefore, “do not fear what the world fears and do not be frightened. In your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to anyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that you have, but do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ will be ashamed of their slander…And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. To Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen!” (1 Peter 3:14b-16, 5:10, NIV). My daughter, I love you, and I want you to know that I will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter how bad things get, how intense the suffering, how hopeless the circumstances, how bleak your surroundings, you must know that you are cocooned in my love and wrapped in my holiness. You are shielded by my truth and armored with my holy Word. You are protected by my angels and guided by my Spirit. You will be sustained and established in all grace and love as you heed my Word and obey my commands. You will not fear what everyone else around you is fearing nor give into the grievous cares of the world. You will rise above it all because I, the LORD, will sustain you. Hush, then, my children, and sit at my feet. Dwell in the presence of your God.
Isaiah 42:5-9: “Thus says God, the LORD,
who created the heavens and stretched them out,
who spread out the earth and what comes from it,
who gives breath to the people on it
and spirit to those who walk in it:
‘I am the LORD; I have called you in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you as a covenant for the people,
a light for the nations,
to open the eyes that are blind,
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon,
from the prison those who sit in darkness.
I am the LORD; that is my name;
my glory I give to no other,
nor my praise to carved idols.
Behold, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare;
before they spring forth
I tell you of them.'”
Beware of fleshly appetites! Satan will try to entice you and lead you astray through simple, even daily appetites such as food or human luxuries. Things that are good gifts which I have given will become obstacles and hindrances for you in seeking my face; they will become idols to some and will hinder the communication between your spirit and my Spirit. Do not give in to anything that is not under control! Do not do anything that is not for my glory and is not a matter of obedience. “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinithians 10:31). I am not forbidding fleshly pleasures. I am not forbidding that you enjoy your daily bread and delight in the comforts that I give you. Rejoice in them and give thanks! Let everything that I give you be a channel for thanksgiving. May it serve to remind you of me and my loving-kindness. However, if you indulge for your own appetites and do not think of me but rather your own cravings, then even those things that are in and of themselves good become to you idols. Do not partake of them. Fast from those things that have become a stumbling block for you, and you will find the channel of communication in prayer suddenly opening to you more freely. “And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD” (Deuteronomy 8:3). “Jesus then said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world'” (John 6:32-33). Eat, my children, of the Bread who came down from heaven, even my Son. I have given Him to you, and He is your life! Eat of Him and be satisfied!
