The Black Hand, the Black Feet

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit showed me a black hand. What made it appear black was its filth—it was so dirty that it was not brown with mud but blackened as if with coal soot. I could not tell if the hand was male or female, as it had the characteristics of both—it was as large as a man’s hand but the nails were longer as with a female’s hand. The hand looked almost demonic. I could see the dirt encrusted under those nails. I observed such a hand with revulsion and repulsion. I wondered, what nefarious deeds could have made it so filthy? And what could possibly clean such a hand from its near indelible staining? Only serious repentance by the offender—and the merciful forgiveness granted by Jesus in the covering of His blood—could ever make a hand like that clean.

Then the Holy Spirit gave me a flash vision of a man’s bare feet. His feet were black to just above the ankles. This darkening of the skin was not from filth, but from poor circulation, gangrene, and necrotic tissue. To survive, the man faced amputation of both his feet. The Holy Spirit indicated to me that the poor spiritual state of the lost and the disobedient—and of many who took the “snake bite”—was increasingly showing in the quality of their blood, which carried less life in it, particularly to the extremities. These suffering people needed the blood of Jesus on them and in them in order to heal and be saved.

In your prayers, plead the blood of Jesus over believers needing healing and protection. And pray that unbelievers may come to belief that the blood of Jesus may cover their lives, sanctifying them and bringing them ever closer to the Lord. Amen.

Scripture:

Leviticus 17:11 (ESV)

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.”

Matthew 26:28 (ESV)

“for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Romans 3:25 (ESV)

“whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.”

Romans 5:9 (ESV)

“Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.”

Ephesians 1:7 (ESV)

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the richness of his grace.”

Hebrews 13:12 (ESV)

‘So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.”

1 John 1:7 (ESV)

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

Revelation 1:5 (ESV)

“and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.”
