Listen unto Me, My son. Sooner or later ,all the things that you see shall melt. The streets will be full of blood and crying and weeping will be common. Yet I will be Your comforter in those days. Be prepared and be warned.”
All the things shall melt
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Streets full of blood
For I will send pestilence upon her, And blood in her streets; The wounded shall be judged in her midst By the sword against her on every side; Then they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
Crying and weeping
So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night.
Then David and the people who [were] with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
And they mourned and wept and fasted until evening for Saul and for Jonathan his son, for the people of the LORD and for the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword.
Blessed [are] those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.
” I, [even] I, [am] He who comforts you. Who [are] you that you should be afraid Of a man [who] will die, And of the son of a man [who] will be made like grass?
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
Now if we are afflicted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation.
