My shepherds, my chosen ones, why have you allowed your culture to capture your souls?  My shepherds in the west, does not the almighty god of mammon rule?  Does it not lead the lost by the nose?  Does it not bind most in Babylon with everlasting chains of darkness?  Does it not promise much, but deliver so little?

But when I look around and listen to what the sheep are being fed, I see an obsession with wealth.  Unholy mammon.  While some warn of its dangers, yet many more justify themselves in the pursuit thereof.  While I clearly commanded you to take no thought for the things of this world, my shepherds fight for the right to prove that much wealth is actually a good thing!

It is as if some have taken on the chore of defending the god of mammon!  They have appointed themselves as advocates for this most dangerous of foes!  Using subtle words of man’s wisdom, they twist and torture my word in such a manner that would make the prince of darkness proud!

How man loves to justify their pursuit of the things of this world!  They create doctrines and movements and denominations, all to justify their love of money.  They have become as the Pharisees of old, lovers of money rather than lovers of God.

And how do they expect this ‘transfer of wealth’, that they erroneously teach, to occur?  They say that somehow, some way, I will magically cause the lost to start writing cheques to the saved!  Yet in reality, it is by fleecing the sheep, of course!

My exhortations and commands on being generous were never meant to enrich the shepherds.  No law was ever written to impoverish one child of mine in order to enrich another.  I do not play favorites!  I do not condone theft, even if wrapped up in seemingly sincere sounding platitudes and deceptive enticements.

This continual emphasis of making the sheep believe that they are under my special curse if they don’t give as their shepherds demand must stop!  And stop it will.  If this heresy is not repented of, I will come and remove every one of these greedy shepherds from their place.

Now is not the time to chase after the things of this world.  Did not I say in my word that those whose hope in me pertains only to this life are the most miserable of men (1 Cor 15:19)?  Therefore why do my shepherds continue to feed my sheep those things which do not nourish?  Why must you continue to teach things that cannot profit?

Oh my shepherds, time is so short!  My sheep are starving.  And you dream of riches and honor and wealth!  Why have you allowed satan to fill your hearts so?  Instead of preparing my people for the great persecution to come, you have filled them with vanity.

Let me be very clear.  There is no ‘great transfer of wealth’ coming to the church.  Not as it is preached anyway.  Do you actually think that I came to die on the cross just so that more money will fall into your hands?  Are you that foolish?  Are you that blind?  Is there no one among you, even the least of you, that has more spiritual sense than that?

My precious sheep, flee from these wicked men.  If they refuse to repent, if they refuse to change course, stop eating their poison.  Yet you say: ‘Where shall I go?  Who shall teach me the things I must know?’.  Did I not promise to send the Comforter to teach you myself?  Do you think my Spirit is incapable of leading you to those good pastures, where the grass is green and the water is clear?

My chosen sheep, fear not.  Fear not to escape the abusive and the carnal.  Fear not to cast off ideas that cannot profit.  Fear not to embrace truth.  While the rest of the world drowns in deceit, my chosen ones shall bask in the One who is the way, the truth, and the life.

What I say to the greedy shepherds I say to all.  Repent.  Repent, and cleanse yourself of your lust for other things.  Behold, your king is at the door.  Are you ready to meet him?
