It grieves me to have to write another warning about the state of our churches, but I am compelled to warn and share what is being revealed to me as the veil continues to be lifted from my eyes.
The enemy’s infiltration of the Christian Church is far worse that anyone in this generation can truly understand. In fairness, the decay has been slow moving for 2000 years, making it even more difficult for later generations to notice. Most of us have been born and raised in churches that previously allowed extensive erosion of sound biblical teaching and practices. As a result, pagan practices have been established long before our time, so they’ve become handed-down traditions that we easily accept as truth. These traditions serve as foundations on which modern Christianity builds upon by offering a “form of godliness”, but are far from it.
(2 Timothy 3:5) “having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people”.
In my last message, I highlighted how the practices of the modern church no longer resemble the practices of the early church. As I dig further, I keep finding more ways in which the Christian Church engages in pagan practices (knowingly or unknowingly). The latest finding is church steeples. Yes, you heard that correctly. Our quaint church buildings with pretty white steeples are steeped in paganism. Think about that for a minute! How many churches around the world have steeples on them? And, over time, Christians have been duped into believing it’s a wonderful and beautiful thing. Again, I am going to ask you to do your own research, but I have attached a couple of links that provide you with some helpful context. In short, these steeples have origins in ancient Egypt’s worship of their sun and fertility gods. Please educate yourselves so that you know the truth.
