Spring Cleaning with Jesus Christ

God is encouraging us to examine ourselves and “spring clean” with Jesus Christ. Consider your ways. ( Haggai 1:5 ) Purge the sins and unnecessary clutter & baggage in ourselves. How many are my iniquities and sins? Make known to me my rebellion and my sin ( Job 13:23 ) Tremble, and do not sin, meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. SELAH (Psalm 4:4 ) Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth. ( Jeremiah 31:19 )
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord ( Lamentations 3:40 ) LET GO of all the clutter, baggage and unnecessary; let’s Partner with Jesus Christ to “SPRING CLEAN” our temple. So we may decrease, so Jesus Christ can increase in us & through us ! God is encouraging us to examine ourselves to REPENT, ASK FOR FORGIVENESS, purge the sins and unnecessary baggage, and make our ways HIS WAYS, to go in HIS direction not ours. To only move when he moves, to do HIS WILL, not ours.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. ( 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ) You might be wondering why it’s important to decrease ourselves? Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. ( 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 )
God has a door for us to walk through; the Lord has this door ready for us to walk through once we REPENT, and take off our flesh and let go of this world; this door is a VERY NARROW door that is SO SMALL we won’t fit if we don’t clean out the clutter, baggage and unnecessary out of our temple. Lord Jesus, help us use our time wisely. Sumit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God. And he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. HUMBLE yourselfs in the sight of the LORD, and he shall lift you up. ( James 4:7-9 ) To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen
Heavenly Father,
We Thank you for who you are, we thank you for being the perfect example for us to follow. We PRAISE you for transforming us into your image of Christ Jesus. We PRAISE you Jesus, We thank you Holy Spirit for your guidance and shining your light on our hindrances to correct us and teach us the righteous way so we can walk closer with you into eternity from this age on to the next. Thank you for fanning our flame and giving us motivation and inspiration in seeking you face, so we may boldly speak your Word with confidence in FAITH. Thank you Holy TRINITY. We PRAISE you God, we PRAISE you Jesus Christ, we PRAISE you Holy Spirit, we PRAISE you Holy Trinity. No name is above yours. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray Amen Amen Amen
