Psalm 100: 2 - 3 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
I had a short interesting but very unusual dream this morning the 24th March 2021 East African Time. A dream that I believe is from the Lord.
The dream is thus:
It was on a Sunday afternoon perhaps at about 1:00 or 2:00 PM. The sun was hot and bright and I was up and about strolling in the city. I then decided to pass by the office. So, I strolled into the office complex and went up to the office. I am not sure what I was going to do there, because in my mind we do not work on Sundays. Perhaps I was just going to pick up something from my desk and then leave.
I got into the office, an office that is unfamiliar to me in real life. It was a very large open plan hall with many workstations joined together to form several rows. The workstations were many, perhaps a few hundreds of them. Near the entrance on the right side of the hall was the CEO’s office. It was a very large cubical made of frosted opaque glass. And the frosted glass covered from the floor all the way to the ceiling so that someone could not be able to see inside the CEO’s cubical.
After getting inside the office, I knew by special knowing that the CEO was in today. I was shocked and very surprised and a little alarmed because I was not expecting him or anyone else to be in, today being a Sunday. And looking at the workstations, I saw two of my colleagues there, a man and a lady. And when I looked at them, I knew by special knowing too, that they had been there working since 6:00 AM. And I was now very surprised and alarmed.
I settled at my work station next to the lady and the man, and I knew that now I was not leaving the office and had to work. Change of plans! I also knew by special knowing, that the CEO had noted my entrance and was aware that I was now inside the office. Disoriented and a little perplexed, I sat down and began settling in to do some work.
The lady then picked some documents from the CEO’s office and walked back to the workstations where we were sitting. The documents were resumes of 3 candidates who apparently had applied for work with this organization. The lady walked up to me and handed to me the 3 resumes: the first one was of a lady, the second one of a gentleman, and the third one of another lady.
As this lady handed me these resumes, she said, “No.1 has been selected. You are to call her immediately to come to work right away.”
“We cannot call her to report to work tomorrow?” I asked, as I protested because it was now 3:00 PM thereabout.
“No. Call her and tell her to come in right now. From tomorrow there will be no more work to be done. Tell her to come in right away,” the lady replied.
I grabbed resume No.1 belonging to a lady with my left hand, as I also took out my phone with the right hand in order to call her. At this moment I was disoriented and a little bewildered at what was going on. Before calling the lady of the No.1 resume, I decided to scroll to the Calendar of my phone, to confirm which day this was.
“When is today?” I asked the lady who had handed the resumes to me, as I was struggling to look at the Calendar in the phone.
“10th of October,” she said as I was also now looking at the phone Calendar, the date there being “Sunday, October 10”. There was no Year to this Calendar.
The dream ended and I woke up.
Meaning of this dream:
This is my understanding of this dream and I believe that this is the message from the Lord to all of us:-
[1] Many believers have left their stations, they have abandoned the work of the Lord now. And perhaps they have abandoned the Lord altogether. This is a very sad situation.
[2]Many are called, but the chosen are few, depicted by the selection of one resume out of the 3 vetted candidates.
[3] The time for us to work for our Lord is dwindling and is almost over now, depicted by the 3:00 PM time. However, the Lord is still interested in those who are willing to serve Him even at this very late hour.
[4] It is time for all of us to call in THE LOST. Because soon the door shuts, no more work can be done, and the opportunity is lost. The night falls and no work can be done in darkness.
[5] We are not to be found strolling and idling, but rather it is time for us to consider everything we are doing. Is it of value to the Kingdom of God? It is time for us to redeem time because the days are evil.

14 Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
Be encouraged brothers and sisters. Keep serving the Lord faithfully in whichever way that He has called us to. Serve Him till the last minute. Do not tire. Do not be discouraged.
