Seek Me Now

On 8/5/2026, the Lord reminded me of a vision I had earlier this year, which was followed this morning by a word from the Lord. I am now prompted by the Lord to release both together.
On 3/9/2026 at 9:25am, I received the following vision:
I received a vision of a television. The picture on the television was in split screen. On the left side was a group of people standing in a long line in front of modern buildings. They were dressed in modern clothes and shoes. One man had on Nike sneakers. The scene appeared to be in black and white, because everything looked drab and dreary. Above it at the top of the screen the caption read, “Soup Lines Today”. On the right side of the screen, was a photo of a group of people from long ago in black and white. Their apparel was aged, and everyone looked tired and haggard. Above the photo at the top of the screen was the caption, “1930s Soup Line”. It was a photo from the Great Depression.

Upon remembrance of this vision, I was then given from the Lord the words, “Where the Red Fern Grows”. I knew immediately it was a classic novel. However, I have never read it. I looked online to get its description. From it, one can see its relevance to the above vision.
I have underlined the relevant terms within.
From Brave Overview:
“Where the Red Fern Grows” by Wilson Rawls is set in the Ozark Mountains of northeastern Oklahoma during the Great Depression of the 1930s. This historical context is central to the narrative, as the protagonist, Billy Colman, grows up in poverty on his mother’s Cherokee allotment, facing economic hardship that drives his determination to work and save for two years to buy his own hunting dogs. The novel reflects the era’s scarcity, where fifty dollars is a significant sum requiring immense perseverance to earn. The family’s struggle mirrors the broader national crisis, with Billy’s eventual success in winning a coon-hunting championship and earning money for his family serving as a personal triumph over the limitations imposed by the Great Depression”.
Note:
The 1930s were a decade defined by the Great Depression, global political upheaval, and the lead-up to World War II.
The similarities of the two pictures on the split screen in the above vision were undeniable, and unnerving. Even more striking is the book’s underlying theme of the Great Depression, poverty, and lack, compared to them both.
After the Lord prompted me to release this vision, I then received the following message from the Lord on 8/5/2026 at 9:45am:
Perilous times are coming for the nations, especially for America, My once great love. To whom much is given, much is required; and America has failed miserably. There will be difficulties like never before. Spirits of poverty and lack are descending upon the nations, and many will suffer. Many will perish. My People, have you prepared both physically and spiritually for what is coming? Have you drawn nigh to Me, so that I may hide you under the shadow of My wings until calamities be overpast? Seek Me now, while it is still somewhat calm. When calamities do come, you will cry out to Me. Will you be able to hear My still, small voice in the chaos? Now is the time to listen for My voice. Now is the time to quiet yourself, to be still, and know Me. When you know Me, and I you, we can commune together. You will hear My voice and follow Me. I continue to speak to you, My People, but many do not listen. Many are not still. Many are caught up in the cares of this world. Oh, how I long to commune with you. Oh, how I long to know you, and you know Me. Seek Me now while there remains peace and quiet to be found. Seek Me now while there is still time afforded to you. Listen for My voice. For once calamities come, hearing from Me will be required; so that I may lead you to safety. Ask now to hear from Me, and I will answer. You only need to incline your ear. You only need to listen. For once calamities come, you will be overcome with emotion and strife. You will wonder what is next for you to do. It is I that you will need. It is I that will order your steps. In the midst of uncertainty and chaos, I AM with you. I will speak to you, guide you, and lead you to safety; if only you will seek Me now.
