“Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28
I have tried to write this blog several times and have held back as I didn’t really feel like I had the appropriate authority to write it. I can hold back no longer as I feel the Lord’s release. I really appreciate 444 Prophecy News for giving people a free forum to share prophetic insights, words, and dreams. Kuddos to Jonathan Theiben for all his work and creativity, enabling voices to be heard.
One of my greatest fears is leading people astray. I truly do not want to be held accountable in that great day for speaking out of my soul and leading people down the wrong path. I really try to discern the voice of the Lord- It is my greatest treasure. I value it so highly that I would rather be dead than be without His voice and His precious leading. With all this said, I am very cautious about what I say without fully knowing I have heard God speak and His prompting to share. One of my favorite pastors says, “Do you really want to know what taking the Lord’s name in vain means? It means speaking something you say is from God and nothing happens.”
I usually read at least a few prophecies from 444 every single day. I have read many submissions in the past that simply came straight from the soul. Many had dates or specific times of events that didn’t materialize. I am going to be straight up honest and say that I usually steer clear of these people in the future when their words do not come to pass – When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or prove true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken. Deuteronomy 18:22.
People, we need to realize that this forum has a wide spectrum of believers and probably non-believers alike. Many are at different maturity levels and many come from different denominations. What you speak matters, especially in these dark times. Jesus cautioned in Matthew 24 three times “Watch out that no one deceives you.” As prophetic people we MUST take this Scripture to heart- Matthew 18:6 “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck”,
I am not trying to discourage people but am strongly encouraging every person who submits words to this site to “test the spirits and see whether they be of God”. If there is the slightest question in your heart do not submit your word. Ask yourself this question- “What is my motive here?” Is my word Scriptural? Is my word mirroring my own fears? Am I promoting myself and ministry or Jesus Christ? Am I willing to publically admit I am wrong if my word does not come to pass? People are watching you. People are following you. We owe Jesus our best as friends of the Bridegroom…
