Running late to the wedding

Dear brothers and sisters,
As always pray for discernment.
I hope this dream will bless someone.
Let me explain. I had just come home from a long day of different events….graduations birthday parties etc. I was feeling very sad inside, as if I had let the Lord down somehow, but I couldn’t think of anything in particular, except for the fact that I couldn’t spend as much time with Him now since my kids have been home from school. So I had asked Him to show me what it was. I had a dream:
In this dream, I was supposed to get married (represents the wedding of the Lamb and His bride).
Sadly, I had said yes to taking my teenage daughter to an engagement. We started driving to this engagement and the clock said it was 5:30 pm. The wedding was at 6, but I lost track of time and forgot all about the wedding. I took her to her engagement and I myself started playing a board game with her and other people. Suddenly I realized that the wedding was at 6 and a sense of panic took over me, realizing I must have missed my own wedding. But when I looked at the clock, I noticed it was only 1:30 pm (God had extended time for me but also for all those caught up with the world).
- I told my daughter we had to get back so we headed off back to the church where the wedding was supposed to take place. There were a lot of distractions on the way but we eventually made it back to the church. A friend even told me that it was good that my daughter was attending all these social events, because the year before she had a hard time making friends (this represents the wrong advise we take from some people at times when we are in the flesh and we allow the worries of the world to run our lives, in this case, the fear that my daughter would not have any friends if I didn’t do all this for her). Once we arrived at the church, there were also many barriers in the way and so getting ready was very hard. I had to run back and forth from one place to the next , having to take the long way around, in order to do my hair and make up (this symbolizes satan and his traps). I tried to take a shortcut that someone had indicated to me but it only resulted in a dead end. So I just kept running back and forth taking the long way. I told my friend not to worry and that I was a sprinter and that I could run very fast.
- Because I was in such a rash, I even entrusted a person that I knew was not of God, to do my hair for me (we can’t entrust anyone with the Salvation of your soul. It is our responsibility).
- I didn’t see the end of the dream. I think it was about 5:30 pm at this point, I think I barely made it, but I am not sure.
I believe this is a dream not only for me but for the bride of Christ, to warn her that there isn’t any time to waste. Get rid of as many distractions as you can. Just because God extended His time of grace in the past, it doesn’t mean He’ll keep doing it, and if we’re not careful, we will loose our place at the wedding supper of the Lamb.
