Root of All Evil is the Love of Money

After reading about the Love of Money, I asked the Lord, “What is a root?” The root gives sustenance and feeds and grows what it is attached to. For without the root, all branches, and vines whither. Your root is the foundation of what has been planted inside of you. Evil are the sins that take root when planted and nourished by your actions. Love of anything, other than the Lord, becomes an Idol.

It is the emphasis you put on the love of money, you do or do not have. When that emphasis becomes an obsession for more and more, your roots grow and spread out and flourish with each thought. You can need money to pay your bills, but the love of it diseases the whole plant.
1 Timothy 6:9-10 KJV
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
