REMNANT: Armor Up, Take the High Ground, Stand Firm & PRAY!

The following dream was received on 8-16-22:
I dreamed of joining a contingent of God’s Remnant Army as they gathered for a battle that was about to begin. The battlefield was an immense plain with a long, narrow, and rugged table-top hill in the center. Our forces of a few hundred had been called at a moment’s notice to assemble together to fight against an army of thousands from the forces of darkness. We could hear the chaotic sounds of the near approach of the enemy’s army and their wild battle cries at our backs as our small group made a mad dash to reach the hill first. Our objective was to get ourselves entrenched on the high ground so we would have a strategic advantage. We were ARMORED UP for the fight and had our weapons of war at the ready. It was a steep climb with a lot of loose rock and soil as we scrambled up the hillside. Those who could find good solid footing were reaching a hand down to help others up who were having difficulty. It was a team effort to get everyone on top of the mesa. By no means was this feat accomplished with any semblance of precision, but by pure dogged determination using whatever means possible. Once we had TAKEN THE HIGH GROUND, we dispersed into a single file forming an elongated line of defense around the perimeter of the cigar-shaped mesa. Our soldiers were separated by only about 10 to 12 feet of empty space in the center of the hill as we stood practically back-to-back for protection. There was absolutely no time to waste. This was a mission of utmost urgency.
There was barely time to catch our breath after the climb before the enemy forces reached us and the battle began. I found myself wielding a sword and with each swing I was uttering warfare scriptures which I had previously memorized. The battle was fierce! Though every single one of our soldiers were fighting valiantly, and the forces of darkness were falling by our efforts, there were just so MANY! They just KEPT COMING! I heard repeatedly in my spirit . . . STAND FIRM! . . . STAND FIRM! . . . STAND FIRM!
Then the command came . . . P-R-A-Y! We all began to pray in one accord while still engaged in hand-to-hand combat. As our united prayers reached the throne of God, the battle began to turn in our favor.
That, was the END OF THE DREAM!
Now as a writer, I found myself feeling that this dream was missing the ending that everyone would expect. It was a sore temptation to embellish it by adding my own spectacular ending of how God came to our rescue. I even thought up a few scenarios that might seem plausible . . . 1) the slippery slope the enemy forces were climbing to reach us began to collapse under their feet and bury them under tons of rock and debris, and those who had not yet begun their ascent scattered in retreat . . . or 2) God sent fireballs from heaven and destroyed every enemy where they stood . . . or 3) God sent legions of His warrior angels to fortify our ranks and help us gain the victory. Any one of these endings may sound good to me! But, brothers and sisters, IF this dream is truly PROPHETIC as well as our PRESENT REALITY (which I believe it to be) . . . who am I to write the ending??? I must share this dream exactly as it was given to me . . . nothing more, nothing less! In any given situation, God will give us the victory in whatever way He so chooses, and I promise you, His spectacular endings will always be so much more than what we can even ask or think! I can only say with certainty that in this particular battle PRAYER turned the tide and gave us the victory!
My Thoughts:
Dear Remnant soldier, do not grow weary in this long-drawn-out battle that we are NOW in. If you find yourself wondering if your efforts are accomplishing anything for God’s kingdom purposes, know that a favorite tactic used by our enemy is to make you doubt your effectiveness. Satan wants us to feel worthless and of little value, when he knows in actuality THE FACTS are exactly the opposite. He is the father of lies. We are a powerful force to be reckoned with! We are admonished to ‘be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might (Eph. 6:10). God would not give us such a command unless it was entirely possible! We are fierce warriors who wear HIS ARMOR! We are called for such a time as this! The forces of darkness TREMBLE when we awaken and our feet hit the floor each morning! They know who we are! But, ‘Do WE know who we are?’ It’s time for us to fill the SHOES we’ve been given!
As time grows shorter for Satan and his forces, the spiritual battle is intensifying. I believe this dream is not about a physical battle we may be facing in the future, but the spiritual battles we are each experiencing Now. There will be times when through the Holy Spirit a call goes out at a moment’s notice to focus our attention on a matter of particular importance to God’s heart. When God speaks, we obey! Without delay!. Nothing you may be doing at the time takes precedence. Souls are at stake! Hit your knees, or whatever else the Holy Spirit directs you to do. Assemble for the battle! We may not even be aware that we are fighting together on the same hilltop, but God knows!
For example, I know that many intercessors have been called recently to pray for God’s people in China, Japan, and Taiwan. There have been other missions of similar importance in the past and I’m sure there will be new missions in the future as the judgments escalate. Only God knows the immediate and most pressing needs of the nations we are called to reach. Jesus is the CAPTAIN of our salvation (Heb. 2:10). He deploys His troops according to His battle plans. He’s the only one who sees the big picture. We already know in advance that we may be outnumbered, but God can and will do amazing exploits with just a few of His faithful servants. Yes, we must stay ‘armored up’ and ‘stand firm’ in the heat of the battle, but don’t forget that PRAYER is the heavy artillery! Our
VICTORY is in JESUS!
