Pray for Houston!

“Because they have forsaken Me and made this an alien place, because they have burned incense in it to other gods whom neither they, their fathers, nor the kings of Judah have known, and have filled this place with the blood of the innocents (they have also built in the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings to Baal, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come into My mind) therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “that this place shall no more be called Tophet or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.” (Jeremiah 19: 4-6)
Founded in 1837, Houston is now the fourth largest city in the United States. It is the largest city in America in terms of total land area. Houston’s gross domestic product (GDP) exceeds that of the entire country of Iran; also that of Columbia and even the United Arab Emirates. These are just a few of the reasons why our enemies have targeted this great city.
Unfortunately, Houston is also the worldwide headquarters of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. This tax exempt, 501 (c) 3, corporation is mainly involved in performing abortions. They are responsible for nearly nine million abortion deaths since 1970. They receive over $500 million dollars of U.S. taxpayer funding each year.
Even after the Great Flood of 2016, there has been scant repentance in Houston. Abortion, lawlessness, and greed still abound. Therefore, the Lord has lifted His hand of protection over the City of Houston.
Early in the morning on September 7, 2020, I was startled out of a deep sleep by the thunderous sound of a massive explosion. After realizing that what I heard was in the spirit realm, I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to show me what this was all about. A few hours later, I received a dream about Houston, Texas.
I was standing near a freeway overpass about five miles away from the central business district. I could see what was left of downtown Houston. There were only a few high rises still standing, and they were badly damaged. I was surrounded by thousands of people who were now homeless and stunned by what had happened. Some of the people were talking about how to get up to Dallas to escape the radioactive fallout from the blast. I sensed the Lord’s great compassion toward these people.
Please pray and fast for all the people of Texas, especially those who live in the City of Houston. The Holy Spirit will guide you in your prayers.
