To the redeemed, bought by the blood of the Lamb:

Was it not made clear when my word said to love not the world, neither the things of the world?  As your attention is drawn to the ominous events of the day, things that I have forewarned you about, they serve as just another distraction from what I have been trying to say to you again and again.

Love not the world, neither the things of this world.  If the love of the world is in you, then the love of the Father is not.  And what are you in love with?  Is it not popularity?  Is it not some addictive, enslaving need to be noticed and affirmed – over and over and over again?

Why have you fallen for the trap of needing constant affirmation?  Why have you let the evil one deceive you so?  So many of you cannot go more than a few hours or even a few minutes without checking to see who has noticed your latest post, your latest video, your latest text.  Likes and subscribes and shares and viral videos have become your daily bread, instead of the bread that has come down from heaven.  You have allowed yourself to fall under the spell of the beast and his system of control.

Encourage one another in the work of the Lord, but not because society demands it.  By the leading of the Holy Spirit, lift one another up, but not because the culture is pressuring you to do so.

You find yourself incapable of prayer.  Sustained prayer, that is.  And why is that?  Because you have allowed the world to rob you of your divinely given ability to turn your heart and your mind completely over to me.  You have lost the ability to sit still, and know that I am your God.  Who today will humbly and reverently sit quietly at my feet, waiting for me to speak, eagerly anticipating my next assignment for you?

You say you do not know what I desire of you.  That is because you do not stop and listen.  No, as soon as your device rings, you answer.  As soon as the bell sounds, you are there saying ‘Here I am’, as any good slave would do.

But when I call you my bondslave, you chafe.  You squirm and are vexed.  You say: ‘I am no one’s slave’.  And yet you fly to your phone, whenever it calls.  You rudely drop everything when someone has responded to your latest upload.  And then you wonder why I do not seem real to you.

My people’s hearts are divided as never before.  Did I not warn you that you cannot serve two masters?  Do you think that applies only to money?  Does it not apply to anyone and anything?  Surely you are not that blind, are you?  Surely you are not that unaware?

My people, how shall you escape what is about to come if you cannot even spend one hour in my presence, without worshipping your master, who calls upon you dozens of times in the day?  Can you not perceive what has been done to you?  Is it too late for some of you?  How many of you are now as the rich young ruler, who could not see a way forward without his wealth?  How many of you cannot envision life without the internet?

What if I come to you and ask you to forsake the online life, and come, follow me?  Would you be as the rich young ruler, and go away sad?  Is your heart so full of lies and deception, that you honestly believe that you could not survive without your connection to Babylon?

Did I not warn you that in the last days, perilous times would come?  Peril is right in the palm of your hand, yet my people see it not.  Peril has taken over your life, yet you hear me not.

When shall my children stop comparing themselves with themselves?  Every one who is immersed in this unreal world is serving to keep one another in bondage.  You see everyone around you living in an alternate reality, and you think all is well, this is how it is supposed to be.

My child, this is not how it is supposed to be.  In no form or fashion is it my will that my children rely on any one or any thing that causes them to be separated from what is real.

Look to my word.  That is what is real.  All of you, who have built your own little world of like minded people, who affirm you in your own delusions, are snared in a deadly trap.  Will you extricate yourself while there is still time?  Or have you gone too far?  Thinking that you know the Lord, yet denying him by the lifestyle that you practice.

You cannot serve two masters.  If you cannot walk away from your phone, then cast it from you.  It is better to enter into life uninformed, and unaware of the latest social media posts, then to be cast into hell with the latest iPhone.  If your laptop offends you then cast it out, it is better to enter into life having no connection to the make believe world, then to be cast into hell with the latest gadget and toy.
