Plagues Delivered by Rodents

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me to a room underground that appear to be a basement or cellar. The place had dim light and I saw creatures scurrying around. The first creatures I saw were white rats. They came up to me as if they were used to human contact, like they were almost pets. I was amazed by how clean they looked and I wondered if they were lab rats. The next creatures I saw resembled brown hamsters, the size to fit in the palm of my hand. When I picked up these hamsters, I quickly realized something was wrong with them. Their bodies were stiff as in rigor mortis, but they were warm and their hearts were still beating. Then I heard another creature squealing in panic and pain, so I put the hamsters down and saw a large female rat, perhaps a different species from the white rats, lying belly up on the floor. While she was still alive, not euthanized, her belly had been opened to expose the condition of her organs. Though she was a rat, I felt so sorry for her that she was going through the torture of vivisection.

Then the Holy Spirit took me to another scene, this time in the regular living space of a house where I saw a woman. She was sick with a condition that made blisters or small white bumps form on her skin every few inches. She was wearing a skirt, and I saw these pustules on the skin of her knees, calves, and ankles. Soon I saw a large section of the skin on her leg turn black as if gangrene had taken hold. This woman had not long to live. I awoke from the dream vision feeling great sorrow.

I asked the Holy Spirit about this vision, and He made it clear to me that more plagues were being developed to sicken and control the population. These plagues were being tested and perfected in rodents, mammals with key similarities to humans. Many of the plagues would be spread by releasing diseased rodents to interact with other rodents inhabiting human spaces. Some plagues would be spread by planes, helicopters, and drones delivering—if not the rodents themselves—particulates of diseased rodents through the air to land on the homes, vegetation, and waterways below, infecting both the rodents and the people. Cities with their large populations of rodents and people would be prime targets.

Dearest Father God, thank you for your great love for your children to give them warning of plagues to come. We know that these plagues are judgements on nations and individuals, but we also know they are a powerful means of bringing the lost and wicked closer to You so their souls can be saved. May you protect us and use us for the work of your Kingdom today and in the times to come. Amen.

Rodents in Scripture

Leviticus 11:29-31: Under the Mosaic Law, small scurrying animals—including the mole rat, mouse, and great lizard—are declared “unclean.” Israelites were forbidden to eat them, and the carcasses of these creatures rendered anyone who touched them ceremonially unclean.

1 Samuel 6:4-5: When the Philistines captured the Ark of the Covenant, God struck them with a plague of tumors. As a guilt offering to the God of Israel, they made five golden tumors and five golden “mice” (or rats) that were “destroying the land,” acknowledging the devastation as a punishment.

Isaiah 2:20: In a prophecy about the day of the Lord, Isaiah describes how people will eventually throw away their idols of silver and gold and flee into caves where “rodents and bats” live, symbolizing the ultimate worthlessness of their false gods.

Isaiah 66:17: God condemns those who participate in detestable, pagan purification rituals in sacred gardens. The text specifically mentions the consumption of swine’s flesh, abominable creeping things, and mice as an affront to His holiness.

Pestilence as Discipline

Throughout the prophetic writings, pestilence is frequently listed alongside the sword and famine as a consequence of national disobedience.

Ezekiel 14:19-23

19 “Or if I send a plague into that land and pour out my wrath on it through bloodshed, killing its people and their animals, 20 as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, even if Noah, Daniel and Job were in it, they could save neither son nor daughter. They would save only themselves by their righteousness.

21 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments—sword and famine and wild beasts and plague—to kill its men and their animals! 22 Yet there will be some survivors—sons and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem—every disaster I have brought on it. 23 You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

The Prophetic Judgments (New Testament)

The Book of Revelation outlines a series of end-time plagues and bowls of wrath poured out on an unrepentant world.

Revelation 9:18: “By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths”.

Revelation 15:1: “Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.”

Revelation 18:8: “Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her”.
