Philadelphia, Philadelphia a place where freedom reigned, you took pride in your style and your elegant, well-spoken leaders of olde. Long ago you lost your convictions, no longer welcoming the free instead you looked all about, so stealthfully. Proverbs 13:10, Jeremiah You harbored suspicions of your fellow man. You didn’t want to share your goods, your fellowship nor bread. Mark 12:29-31 You fought among yourselves, while speaking of your love. Titus 3:3 Alas, my fair city, today your are unmasked!
The city of Brotherly Love you say, oh so sanctimonious don’t you see? 1 Corinthians 6:8-10, Philippians 2:3 Your selfish ways and grasping days and lust for blood is known throughout the land. Come my children, come my children shake off these sins that tangle thee. Mark 7:21-23 I hate your corruption far and wide, your lies reach up to the skies. Revelations 21:8
One day soon, oh, wayward child, you will answer only to me. No longer will you shrug your shoulders and point to the nearby city [New York City]. I see their sins far and wide, they also have pride so magnified. However, the unrepentant must always answer eventually. 2 Corinthians 5:10-12
Philadelphia, great punishment awaits your shores. You have corrupted my gifts and call them yours. Galatians 6:3 I hate your indifference toward your neighbor, you rationalize so easily. I have warned time and again only to be ignored. My Son proclaimed far and wide that you must love your neighbor as yourself but you don’t take that advice. You have forsaken me and you have sought world gain. If you don’t repent in my name, that my son can’t proclaim you belong. Matthew 10:31-33

I correct those I love. So return to your first love. You have gone so waywardly, it almost astonished me. But I read the hearts of man, and your works are but a sham. I warned the 7 (churches) in Revelation, now is not time for celebration. Soon devastation shall reign and you will want to see your name, in my Precious Son, the Lamb’s book of Life.
So gather far and wide, bring your sackcloth too. Come before my throne right now, when this touches you. It is time, it is time to repent before me. Romans 10:9 It is time to repent and seek the heavenly. I will not delay much longer the things that I will allow. For your enemy has targeted you and few have my protection. Seek the things eternal, forsake the things you love and delight in my perfection. Jeremiah 9:23 You won’t be taking your cellphone or car when your spirit leaves this place. So forget that recent selfie taken of your face! Proverbs 16:18 Step out of pride and lasciviousness and humbly come before me with regret and selflessness.
