Ezekiel 18:20-32

20The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor the father bear the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself. 21 “But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. 23 Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

24“But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. 25 “Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. 28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29 Yet the house of

Israel says, ‘The way of the Lord is not fair.’ O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair?

30“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways,” says the Lord God. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore, turn and live!”
Message :

“No, it is certainly not My will that any should perish. However, it is also not My will for those who do NOT love Me, to reap eternal rewards in My Kingdom. I Am is fed up with the idiocy of man’s thoughts that are motivated by pure unadulterated selfishness. Everyone wants to go to heaven, but very few want to be with Me and love Me for who I am and My ways of righteousness. It is appalling, the levels of which selfishness and selfish idolatry have risen. If you want Me, come and find Me. I am near to the broken hearted, and by this, I mean contrite for your sins and abominations. My people stop fooling yourselves. You are deceived if you believe “once saved – always saved”. You will stand before Me, the book of Life and all that I entail. (I understood every scripture) Are you so sure you want to put all your eggs in that basket of wickedness? Once saved, always saved?? Really?? Where in the world you live in, does that exist? There is no lifetime membership w/o pay. Come buy without money and without price… You will buy with your will sacrificed to Mine. Please My children, use the intellect I gave you. Your mindset is free, free, free. Well I paid for you with blood. Is there not an ounce of integrity within you that you would be like My son David who said, I will not offer anything that does not cost me?? You entitled spoiled children! I told you that I would scourge “every” son!! Will you to be scourged? I know, I know the old saying, “-Having your cake and eating it too!” Well the buck stops here! You can not eat from the table of demons and from the table of the LORD. Choose!”

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Psalm 51:23 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.

Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Romans 2:4 Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and under-estimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent (to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)?

Acts 17:30-31 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

Luke 21:36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

Zechariah 5:8 then he said, “This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth.

2 Samuel 24:24 Then the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing.” So, David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the LORD loves, He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.”

Psalms 42:1-6 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say to me,
“Where is your God?” When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me.
For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?

1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

    I respectfully disagree.
    Here is why….

We cannot earn our salvation, in any way.

We bring nothing to the table but a broken and contrite heart.
    IT IS A GIFT!
Yes, one that we must accept willingly and of our own choosing.

We can accept it or reject it, it’s our “free will” to do either.
If we CANNOT EARN our salvation, and we can’t, then how can we ever stay “good enough” to keep it?

We CAN’T! Salvation is a gift!! Salvation is called “The gift of God” over 20 times in the New Testament. The Bible tells us that the gifts and callings of God are “without repentence”, (Romans 11:29) Meaning they are IRREVOCABLE!

God does not “gift us” with eternal life on the “maintenance plan”. It is all grace forever and Jesus said ALL that the Father has given me, I will not LOSE one of them!
Jesus said in John 6:39: He is the “Good Shepherd”,and no good shepherd loses a single sheep.
Jesus said “ALL that the Father has given me, I LOSE NONE!”
Now admittedly there is a HUGE difference between those who are truly converted and those who are falsely converted.

I have studied this issue for MANY years and am convinced of the eternal security of the true believer!!
Another point would be this, Jesus told Nicodemas ; “That which is born of flesh is flesh, that which is born of Spirit is Spirit” (John 3:6)
When you have a child born “of your flesh” there is nothing that child can EVER do to NOT BE YOUR CHILD!

It’s absolutely impossible to ever undue that which has been done in the flesh!
That child may disappoint, disobey, walk away, but regardless that child was born of you and nothing can change that, …NOTHING!
Now, Jesus point is the same concerning that which is “Born of the Spirit”.
A truly born again child of God may wander, fall, fail and admittedly “conditionally ” be a mess, HOWEVER, “POSITIONALLY” they are secure and “SEALED” as an envelope that can only be opened by Father God! (Ephesians 4:30).
My daughters will FOREVER be my daughters, and I will FOREVER be their Father regardless of what they do…OR do not do!

My friends if “Good works” cannot attain our salvation, then our “Good works” cannot MAINTAIN our salvation!
Conversely, neither can “bad works” lose it either. However, I do believe there to be a COLOSSAL difference between those who profess to be “Born again”.. and are Christian in name ONLY!
As compared to those who are truly “Born Again” and truly saved and display the fruits of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-23:
” Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity!”
Notice Jesus said I NEVER KNEW YOU!
Not “Well, I knew you BUT then,.. you did this, or that, or failed or were fallen, He said I NEVER KNEW you! The truly redeemed are “Sealed unto the day of redemption”.
If we suppose that we are given the GIFT of salvation but we have to do SOMETHING/ANYTHING in order to keep it, then we are professing and confessing our very own selves as “Co-redeemers” with Christ!

Because you are implying your salvation is based on you doing or not doing something and this is simply NOT BIBLICAL!
Anyone who thinks however, that this is a license to live in sin and live like hell and the devil is deceived and the truth of Gods Spirit does not dwell within them and I believe Biblically NEVER did have a true encounter with the Living Christ!

    Marty,

Who do you think Jesus was talking about when he said in the later days, some will fall away from the faith? A non-believer/ non- Christian cant fall away because they never had the faith to start with. I am thinking He was talking about the believers. Peter denied the Lord 3 times. Three time Jesus asked do you love me. Peter was restored back to his hope.
Why is it written that many will say Lord, Lord on that day. Look what we done in your name…..His response will be depart from me you workers of iniquity, I never knew you.
Yes, the gift of salvation is free and is not earned by works. But we need to surrender our flesh so that we wont continually crucify Christ by living in Sin.
It would be better for someone never to be born than to have the truth and turn from it. The judgement of sodom In that day will be better than for that person who new the truth and turned from it.
Once saved always saved, I dont think that is how that works, we can’t willfully live in sin and expect the blessing.
Isnt it a mans own FREE WILL to serve the Lord one day and and if He chooses, to turn away. Paul talks about Living in sin throughout the letters and not being deceived by doing so.
If my belief on the once saved always saved is incorrect, then may the Lord God of all correct me. We can not serve two masters…..a lot of so called Christian’s out there saying they are saved and are not. I do believe in Gods grace, but I also believe in repentance and turning away from living in sin as well.
I lived a life of living in sin and was corrected by the Holy Spirit, this was while I believed in Christ as my savior. Brothers and sister, be not decieved. No, we can not have our cake and eat it too. The road to salvation is more narrow tha the wastern Christians want to believe…..

Robert, thank you for your answer. This is Calvinism: once saved for ever saved is not biblical.
I asked a baptist pastor in Malta some years ago, how he could believe Calvinism and his answer was: if a christian lives willfully in sin, God take him earlier away through a sickness or an accident, but he is saved. Where is this written?

  5. sophie

I agree Robert, OSAS is bringing more people to hell than ever before. These people don’t even know how they will sin in the future but just believe “does not matter, I am covered” blah blah blah. They also do not believe in repentance daily and yet ANY UNREPENTANT sin you will not enter into the kingdom of God.

OSAS is a doctrine of demons and Satan wants as many as he can get to be down below with him. You can get dreams and visions of the Lord but if you are in that false belief you will DIE AND PERISH IN YOUR UNBELIEF.

it is a continual fight to the finish line and it’s a very difficult walk to be on this narrow road and most choose not to walk on it. 🙁

  6. Martin S

Marty it is not a matter of works that keeps us saved it is a matter of obedience plain and simple. The term keyword is obedience. Jesus said not everyone that says to me lord lord shall enter the kingdom but only those that do the will of my father. The Bible also says that he who endures to the end the same shall be saved. There is a continual cleansing process called sanctification that needs to take place for a Christian after he receives justification by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. A lot of the property that is quoted on this site ends with repent daily repent of all sins that you know of and ask God to cleanse you of sins that you do not know of. If we allow the first step of justification to take place in her heart that is a work of Jesus on the cross. We then move into sanctification was the ongoing cleansing at the lever and the repenting of motives and iniquity in her heart. If we remain in sanctification eventually when the Lord returns we will enter into glorification with an incorruptible body Not subject to sin. Love you brother!

Once saved always saved is a false doctrine brought about by the devil to deceive & confuse the masses.

    Philippians 2:12-13 (Amplified Bible)
12 So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. 13 For it is [not your strength, but it is] [a]God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.

    Footnote:
    a. Philippians 2:13 God supports the believer, but it is the believer’s responsibility to do what he has been called by God to do.

  9. Katie Levensailor

I had a dream about this two nights ago. I dreamt that an angel was discussing people who claim to be God’s children and “say the prayer” but refuse to depart from their life of sin. In my dream he said “surely every sin is counted and written down for these, and fall under condemnation, because they have no fear of God and misuse such a great gift of mercy”. I was looking at a sheet of paper in front of me with notations and marks for everything they had done and not truly repented of or cared to although they claimed to “believe”. I felt the fear of God in that dream so deeply.

I do believe people who are born of God cannot willfully continue in sin. I know sometimes I sin and fall but I turn to God for mercy right away because I know how great a gift He gave me through Jesus and I hate anything between us. I also feel sorrow really deeply when I sin. I believe this dream pointed out people who say they are believers and are not. The context behore having this dream is God helped me remove a man from my life that said he was a Christian but kept pressuring me to sin. I think that might be why I dreamt it. God doesn’t want us to be in the dark.

If it wasn’t for His mercy and forgiveness my life would be totally worthless. I can’t earn that. Ever. But He did forgive me and He helps me follow Him. When I confessed my sin to Him He forgave me again and gave me a clean slate. This only makes me want to follow Him more.

It’s hard to imagine but there are people who do not care to obey God and believe they are going to be with Him without even knowing Him at all. I think that is what this post is talking about. Lord have mercy on all your people. Even faith itself is from you! Fashion our hearts to obey you and fear You. Don’t let any of us miss out. In Yeshua’s name I pray, amen.
