In a flash dream vision, the Holy Spirit showed me what looked like a clean cat litter box full of sandy gray clay granules. Lying in the middle atop the sand, I noticed something small, a trinket of some kind. I looked closer and recognized it as a lapel pin or refrigerator magnet of an American flag. Then I heard the rhema words, “relegated to the dustheap of history.”
Repent, America! Repent! Repent!
Scripture:
Psalm 103:13-18 NIV
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
Job 42:5-6 NIV
5 “My ears had heard of you
but now my eyes have seen you.
6 Therefore I despise myself
and repent in dust and ashes.”
Isaiah 29:4,16 NIV
4 Brought low, you will speak from the ground;
your speech will mumble out of the dust.
Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth;
out of the dust your speech will whisper.
16 You turn things upside down,
as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,
“You did not make me”?
Can the pot say to the potter,
“You know nothing”?
