It is a time of evil as we hear and as we learn of the hidden evil ways of the wicked and we are shocked. However, we cannot fight or pray against what we do not know. Hence, this season of great exposure. The Lord is judging the wicked. You cannot escape the hand of the Lord no matter how rich and powerful a person may be. The Lord cannot tolerate wickedness and the cup of iniquity floweth over and thus judgment is at hand).
