“My People Are Tone Deaf”
I was praying before the Lord this morning, seeking Him concerning how many in the Body of Christ are accusing the prophets of God of speaking too harshly, or not speaking in love. So as I asked God about this, He said:
“It is not you! The Body of Christ is tone deaf! My people refuse to hear the words of judgment and warnings because they are not in a soft tone, they are too harsh and so they refuse to listen to ME!”
Then God began to show me how the believers do not want the stern words of warnings. They desire to make them more of the flesh, more pleasing to their ears. They are wanting to shut up God’s prophets of warning and judgment, so much so that they will try and seduce them away with carnal things to shut them up. This is why there are not many “spiritual fathers.” The enemy has attempted to shut them up thereby stopping the correction and discipline and keeping the believers immature.
When the “church” no longer desires to hear the Word of God and His warnings of judgments, God will fall silent. Then…..the judgments will be loosed!!
“Warning! The Church is at this point now! Too busy following after false idols and false words, committing adultery against ME! Stiff-necked and contentious against ME! This is the fruits of the enmity against ME!” says the Lord God! “I have had to begin to speak harshly because of the hardness of your hearts, you are obstinate, stubborn! You despise the words of My servants because they are too harsh! You long for sweet-sounding words or false words of excitement, but those days are over! I have had to become harsh due to the obstinacy of your hearts! You refused to hear the gentle words of My wooing, because you are a stiff-necked people. But I say to you now – REPENT before ME with true humility of your hearts, because the judgments are truly coming!” says the Lord God.
