Men’s Hair Dreams

Recently, the Lord has repeatedly brought long-haired men in my daily path to share this series of dreams. I usually carry a tract called “The Father’s Love Letter”, as the Lord prompts me to share. I thought someone may have an opportunity to share it as well.

Summary of Hair Dreams:

I am in an open park and speaking at a podium. I cannot hear what I am saying, however I know that I am giving the good news. As I am speaking, a tall, thin, blond male about 19 years old, with waist length hair walks up to me and tells me to cut off half of his hair. He leaves. I continue speaking and an old scraggly character listening to me speak is off to my right in a corner. He grumbles something to the effect that he ain’t letting nobody cut his hair, and that the message is basically crap, he’s not buying it. Men are casually standing and listening, coming and going. Some allow a haircut, others leave without getting a haircut. Directly in front of me are two teenage boys ballin’ crying, they are about 13 and 14 years old. The younger is Hispanic and the older is Asian. The older one is emotionally stronger and is trying to encourage the other to have his hair cut and encouraging him that it will be good for him to allow me to cut his hair. I continue to speak knowing that I have to wait until they are ready. The Holy Spirit made me aware that the younger boy had been sexually abused, and this was the source of his shame. End of the dream.

I had this vision/dream twice Aug 17, and Oct 23, 2023, then a third in the series, was the same only this time I was considering how to cut a woman’s hair. This was in Dec/2023.

Interpretation of Dream Sequence:

Park setting – Long haired males are at a pause or parked in life, plateaued, relaxed, respite, time of reflection.

Hair – Hair in this dream represents anything that is an emotional, physical, or spiritual dead thing. It no longer offers any value.  It is an outward manifestation of a “dead weight” and does not allow for growth, new perspective, or new beginnings.  This “shame” can be known or unknown to the individual. It represents a false self-image, wounds in the soul, secret or hidden shame.  For a male it can represent security or an umbilical cord to the past and negative memories, to include not wanting to forgive or let go for a new perspective. For example, if an authority figure such as a mother or father tells a certain “shameful story” that demeans and instills a negative perception, then this male may unknowingly grow out their hair to hide or to cover how they feel about themselves. This is why the men were healed by  the haircut which was symbolic of receiving the good news.

Silence – Maintaining a peaceful posture where confrontation is possible, employing wisdom, discernment, and restraint to avoid speaking carelessly or out of turn.

Message of Good News – This is the gospel Jesus proclaimed and brought, Luke 4:18-22 (These definitions were extrapolated out of the Strongs Concordance)

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to:

• Preach the good news to the poor (Declare good news of salvation to beggars, lowly afflicted, those that are destitute of Christian virtues, wealth, position or honor, and those who are powerless to accomplish an end)

• He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted (Healing to those who are shattered, trodden down, crushed completely, broken in pieces)

• To proclaim liberty to the captives (Authorized public announcement to those needing release from bondage, imprisonment, captivity as prisoner of war, addictions, AS IF NEVER COMMITTED, to pardon and forgive a debt)

• And recovery of sight to the blind (Restoration of sight to those who are blind, mentally blind, puffed up with pride, highminded)

• To set at liberty those who are oppressed/bruised (Release of those from bondage of mental torment, mental fragmentation caused by shattered soul as those who have been sexually, mentally, or physically abused, those who are schizophrenic, shattered in person and soul, those struck dumb by life-altering circumstances)

• To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (Authorized proclamation to all that a fixed and definite period of time has been set to appropriate His promises. This is like a sale that is only for a specified period of time)

Haircut – The act of believing and receiving whatever portion of the message of good news you want. The haircut is shedding old mindsets, emotions, beliefs about your image or life situations. For example: The abused boy believing he is worthless, unloved, and unforgiven to being loved, affirmed, healed – released from the old identification of the abusive acts performed on him, to being a loved son of God, overcoming and a new identity.

Hispanic – Relates to machismo, arrogance as it relates to depending on self and stubbornness refusal to change or accept help, especially when the message is bringing him to tears. We have a saying of being able to handle the truth, come to grips with a situation. The boy who is at the age of maturity is unwilling to come into manhood and face life.

Asian – Relates to being focused on being disciplined to do the hard long road to achieve success, strength to forego feelings and emotions to achieve future goals. Whatever his shame, he was ready and willing to deal with it, i.e. cut off the dead weight, identity, or shame.

13 – Age of manhood in Jewish culture, age of adulthood accepting responsibility

14 – Represents new revelation, new perspective, new insight

19 – Represents faith, believing in God’s Word for healing and freedom

Corner – “Stuck in a corner”, potential for things to get better or worse. In this series of dreams he represents a mindset that has taken a turn for the worst because while he is hearing “Good News” of healing, he chooses to reject Jesus’ offer; to which the Bible says that salvation is found in none other. In addition, the park  is an open setting and he chooses to stay stuck in a corner of perspective. He has no faith in his life becoming better. He’d rather commiserate AND influence others to wallow in their shameful and painful situations ALONE, without help, remedy, or promise.

Important Notes:

• God intended for hair to be maintained – as well as the baggage in the soul

• Hair is a dead thing, requiring permission to cut and dictate style and how much

• Hair represents thinking style or attitude, image, mindset, or how we identify

• Long hair on a man is a disgrace or shame according to 1 Corinthians 11:14 – the men are literally carrying a shameful memory daily through life. As the years progress, how exhausting this would be.

• Exodus 20:5-6 says, “You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.” This means that sins will affect generations thereafter, thus shame that can be manifested due to the generational impartation.
