Part of the call of being a Watchman is to “SET THE TRUMPET TO THY MOUTH!” and to warn of impending dangers and to wake those who are sleeping and alert them to approaching enemies and of the wrath to come.
For me personally, at times that has been very sobering because the Lord will show me things that the unbeliever will face, although I’ll not be here.
Is this Biblical?…..YES!!!
In Revelation 1:19, Jesus says this to the Apostle John:
“Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be HEREAFTER!”
Jesus then shows John that which IS COMING in the future KNOWING that John will be in Heaven at this point, WHEN these things are taking place.
What things? :
The Tribulation, the judgments, the
“anti-christ”, the Mark of the Beast, the wrath of God, the Battle of Armeggedon and so on.
So John HAD to see and experience very frightening events, so he could properly WARN others of that which is to come!
I established that foundation because I had a very frightening and sobering dream last night, possibly the MOST frightening dream I’ve ever had!!!! (Believe me that is saying a lot!)
There is NO DOUBT that this dream is a STRONG WARNING to those who are walking in rebellion and playing games with God and feel that they have plenty of time!!!
Dream:
It was a normal day, sunny pleasant, not unlike any other day.
SUDDENLY….I looked up into the sky and notice that the skies begin to look different…..very different!
I then noticed the rotation and swirling of a great light in these clouds….
SUDDENLY it hit me:
“THE RAPTURE IS HAPPENING!”
“IT’S THE RAPTURE!!”
Then I noticed that people all around me were being snatched up into the clouds like a bolt of lightning!
I then begin to PANIC!!!
Thinking:
“WHY AM I STILL HERE?”
“WHY AM I NOT BEING CAUGHT UP AS WELL?”
I then begin to scream out:
“PLEASE TAKE ME!….
“PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME BEHIND!”
“MY GOD!…I THOUGHT I HAD MORE TIME!”
I then begin to run through the street trying to follow this cloud, I begin to try opening doors to get on top of a building to get closer…
ALL TO NO AVAIL!!!
The RAPTURE had taken place….and I had been LEFT BEHIND!!!!
I awoke….I gathered myself and begin to pray.
I said, “Lord WHAT a terrible dream, WHY would I have to experience this?”
The Lord said:
“I wanted you to feel the fear and panic of what so many will feel on that day!!
I want you to tell them!
I want you to WARN THEM, for in an hour they think not, the SON OF MAN WILL COME!!!”
(Matthew 24:44)
Let me close by saying, that there are NO WORDS to describe that event, that day,…
For many, it will be so very glorious, for others, such panic and grief and fear that it is BEYOND human description!!!
Accept the Lord Jesus NOW…For TODAY is the day of SALVATION!!!!
