Learn from the Ants

In a dream vision I saw trails of brown-black ants up close, busy transporting their food for storage. I heard a voice say, “Make like an ant.”
The future will bring a long winter, literally and metaphorically. Food will be difficult to grow and difficult to find. The food that can be found will be many times the price one is used to paying. If you have not yet begun to store for the Long Winter, do so immediately. Store enough food as would be needed for a Jubilee Year, in which fields lie fallow. When the time comes, be generous with the needy. Many will entertain angels unaware.

Go to the ant, O sluggard,
Observe her ways and be wise,
Which, having no chief,
Officer or ruler,
Prepares her food in the summer
And gathers her provision in the harvest.
