Knockout Punch

Dreamt of a private party serving “Knockout Punch” – President Trump died last week.
I had a dream that I was in a dimly lit, New England style home. As you enter the front door there were several long party tables connected, where there were 2 or 3 servers behind 2 large punch bowls of red punch and slices of cake at the right side of the table.
There were a handful of women speaking in slightly hushed tones, about the upcoming election; who was available, and that President Trump was favored to win. But a single woman with dark, short hair who seemed to be in-the-know; decisively said, No he wasn’t going to win, because he died last week. I seemed to be the only one surprised at the declaration. I said, if that was the case, it hadn’t been reported on the news.
Now, this woman was unknown to me, but seemed like I had seen her before. She was short in stature, formidable and seemed politically connected. She never said she was the mayor, but she was official, definitive, and concealed. I only saw her from the back. When she walked toward me, it was in a darkened parlor. This woman and the ladies in the dream were mingling and sometimes pacing through the house as they discussed the topic. I silently wondered how she knew, who she was, and where she got her information.
I went over to the concession table and got a piece of cake. The ladies serving the punch and cake were still as stone, did not move, and were completely silent. They stood with their backs against the wall, behind the table. Someone made a joke like “Big Beautiful Cake” or “Big Beautiful Party” mimicking Trump’s voice, but no one laughed. As I thought of the woman, I was reminded of the actress Cindy Williams, who played “Shirley” on the sitcom “LaVerne and Shirley”. As I was waking up, discerning the dream, I heard part of the theme song, “And we’ll do it our way, yes our way, make our dreams come true, yeah we’ll do it our way, yes our way, make our dreams come true, for me and you.” I fully awoke.
Interpretation:
In this dream, America is represented as a new England. She will have a new face. The ladies in the darkened parlor are a league of nations leaders, who are celebrating-in-wait, as in the term ‘lying-in-wait’. This private celebration has taken place and the major players are pacing/anxious for its culmination. The connected tables represent mutual agreement. The ladies, the league of nations have spoken, a knockout punch will be served, and President Trump will get his just desserts. The ladies serving represent Trump insiders, who have their backs against the wall; while they are complicit due to the expediency of their political lives, mumms the word of self-preservation and maintaining longevity. They are stoic; not finding the plan for Trump’s demise funny or cause for celebration. Trump has been voted out by this league. Hence the assured and certain announcement of him having died, ‘last week’. I called the ‘refreshment table’ a ‘concessions table’, but it serves as both. The Trump insiders are conceding the change, and a new England i.e. a new America, would be refreshment and cause for celebration for the league. Out with the arrogance, ineptitude, chaos, egotism, and unpredictable bulldozing.
“As the theme song implies, so it shall be, an orchestrated coup. He’s done what he came to do; the people fell for it hook, line, and sinker; and they’ll accept anything – out of the frying pan, into the fire.” This saying means going from a bad situation to one that is much worse.
The ‘theme song’ and ‘orchestrated’ is a play on words.
