Killing the Sick (?!!)

In a dream vision, the Holy Spirit took me to a hospital—one I don’t recognize in my waking life. In this scenario, I was visiting an acquaintance of mine, a man who I had heard was in a coma and between life and death (in the dream but not in real life). Even though I was not a family member, a doctor in the ICU took the time to tell me that this man was in the very worst condition possible and would probably not make it. In fact, the doctor described his patient’s condition as “living hell”. After paying my respects to the man’s family seated on chairs in the hallway, I returned to the larger hospital waiting room, where I sat down for a minute to rest.
Once settled in the waiting room, I was approached by a man who sat in the seat to my left. At first, I assumed he was a visitor like me, or maybe even a patient who had just gone through intake. He was a middle-aged white man, balding, and in a comfortable outfit. He wore sneakers, pants, and a colorful shirt in primary colors (blue, red, and yellow) that resembled a spandex superhero shirt. He looked brainy and a bit arrogant. He would not stop moving or talking as he was agitated and burdened by something.
Eventually, the man introduced himself as a doctor at the very same hospital. He explained that he was off-duty and had taken off his white coat. I informed him that I had come to visit a man who was between life and death in a coma, and that it didn’t look like he would make it. The doctor then nodded, “He probably won’t make it. We’ll make sure he doesn’t.”
Quite surprised at the doctor’s odd statement, I asked him what he meant by it. “Well, we have about seven or eight ways of pushing the death process without the family really knowing,” he said, trying to be nonchalant about it. “It won’t show in the records. Anyway, doing this makes it easier for just about everyone. Who has the time and money to waste? We need to free up the hospital bed.” His eyes were flinty and cold, but they wandered and could not settle.
Taken aback by what the doctor said, I was quiet. “In fact,” he continued, “you really don’t want to be here if you can help it. Stay away from this hospital. First, do everything you can to treat yourself outside. Only come here after you’ve done everything you can.” When I looked again into his eyes, I saw sorrow breaking through. I witnessed the heavy burden his conscience carried, even as he tried to ignore it. He was confessing his sin as much as he was warning me and others. Though he would not request prayers for himself, he needed them!
Dear followers of Christ, in the tough times ahead—in multiple pandemics, economic collapse, and war—so many will fall ill and seek assistance in a hospital. The times have changed, and hospitals have too. Many are no longer led by doctors who have pledged the Hippocratic Oath to “do no harm”. Instead, these institutions are run by corporations for profit with the hands of Big Pharma and insurance companies reaching into the bodies of the sick to squeeze out whatever they can until they can’t anymore because the patient is dead. To this, add the depopulation agenda and the surreptitious vectors of technology inserted for surveillance, control, and the weakening of the body and soul.
The Lord is cautioning His people to open their eyes to the signs of the times, like the sons of Issachar. Within each hospital are individuals who entered the medical profession desiring to be small-scale superheroes only to be corrupted and swept up in an agenda they have little control over and must obey to keep their employment and licensure. To survive and stay in their chosen profession, they have had to harden their hearts and look the other way as the patients they once could heal using other methods are now pushed closer to death using the new required protocols. Pray for such medical professionals, that God softens their hearts and guides them to courageously transcend any corrupted protocols or unjust administrative boxes that restrict them. Pray that these individuals truly do God’s healing work and become real heroes of a divine calling. Amen.
