Jer 51:1 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will raise (wake) up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst (heart) of them that rise up against me, a destroying (ruinous) wind (ruach);

The judgment of Babylon continues. I am not sure if the chapter break has any significance, other than 110 verses is a little too long! God speaks of sending a mighty, rushing wind. But unlike the wind sent on Pentecost, the purpose of this heavenly wind is to destroy, not to enliven. The presence of God can either save, or destroy. It all depends on the heart condition of the receiver.

One thing is clear, though. You cannot stop the wind from coming. You can determine if that wind will heal you, or cut you down. God is saying that he is going to send his wind of judgment on Babylon, and those whose lives are centered in Babylon. You don’t have to be in the physical land, you just have to embrace the heart of the Babylonian system in your heart to be counted as part of that cursed group.

Jer 51:2 And will send unto Babylon fanners (foreigners, strangers, profane people), that shall fan (winnow, scatter) her, and shall empty (depopulate) her land: for in the day of trouble (rah – evil) they shall be against her round about (they shall be encircled).

God has certainly sent us foreign and profane people across our borders that have scattered us. We are certainly being depopulated. We are being encircled by our enemies as we speak. Isn’t it eerie to see God use terms such as depopulation with such frequency? Especially as it applies to end times. All these judgments most certainly fell on Babylon in the 6th century BC. Yet God wants us to understand that he does not provide verse after verse that speaks of this ancient empire for no modern purpose. Revelation confirms to us that Babylon is alive and well in the final generation, and that it is destined to experience these same judgments one more time, only this time it will be final and complete.

We also need to treat Babylon as sort of a double meaning in this second fulfillment. We first see the promise of judgment on us, who have become Babylon in the west, and especially in America. But second, we should also see it as the global system that is being put in place, as the adversary of all mankind, to be directly ruled by the man of sin. The elite that are his mouthpieces today are simply keeping the seat warm and preparing the way for satan’s big shot that will rule the world with a reign of terror that will make the likes of Stalin blush.

Jer 51:3 Against him that bendeth (daw-rak – strings a bow, treads, threshes) let the archer (daw-rak) bend (daw-rak) his bow (keh-sheth – bending), and against him that lifteth himself up (ascends) in his brigandine (coat of mail): and spare ye not her young men; destroy ye utterly (haram) all her host.

The same word is used 3 times in a row. He who bends the bow, the new bender will bend him, or something to that effect. It’s like saying he who destroys, let the real destroyer destroy him. Also those that think they are not only sufficiently armed, but protected with the latest armour. God says to not spare either their enforcers, but also all those in their prime, even all their army.

Who is in the army of Babylon today? Since they are not attacking us with conventional forces, such as soldiers and tanks, so we need to broaden the definition of who God is speaking of. Does not Babylon’s army consist of all the liars in government and media? The executioners in the hospitals? The thieves and torturers in the police force and the justice system? The illegal aliens invading our lands? The sexually diseased pedophiles and molesters corrupting our youth? God says spare them not. Destroy this entire debauched, depraved army of the antichrist.

We have started to see this literally come to pass before our very eyes. One of the very few Canadian doctors has said that there are maybe 10 out 100,000 doctors in Canada who have publicly spoken out against the jab. That is one one hundredth of one percent, or .0001. so far we have had well over 1000 doctors die unexpectedly. We all know why.

Jer 51:4 Thus the slain (pierced) shall fall (naphal) in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through (stabbed, pierced) in her streets.

In the godless land, of which the west may now be called, the pierced and stabbed shall fall. In the streets shall they die suddenly. The denizens of Babylon, who have rejected the kingdom of our Lord, have been pierced many times over. They are fallen, both physically and spiritually, in an unclean land.

Jer 51:5 For Israel hath not been forsaken (widowed, divorced), nor Judah of his God (elohim), of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin (asham – guilt, also trespass offering) against the Holy One of Israel.

Although Hosea stated that Israel had been divorced by Yahweh, it was not to be a perpetual decree. Indeed, in that very book, God had Hosea live out a painful marriage that ended up him buying back his wayward wife out of slavery. So too Yahweh has bought back his adulterous bride by the precious blood of Jesus. Their entire nation was said to be filled with sin and guilt, yet that did not stop God from pursuing them.

Jer 51:6 Flee (escape) out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver (save) every man his soul (nephesh): be not cut off (perish) in her iniquity (do not perish in her perversity); for this is the time of the LORD’S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence (they will get what they deserve).

I am reminded of this passage in Ezekiel:

Eze 14:12 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
Eze 14:13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
Eze 14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
Eze 14:15 If I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:
Eze 14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.
Eze 14:17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:
Eze 14:18 Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
Eze 14:19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
Eze 14:20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
Eze 14:21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

God pulls out his list of hall of famers to make his point. There are times in a nation’s history when the sins are so bad, that if the best of the best were there, all their prayers could do is to save themselves. These 3 superstars could not even ensure the salvation of their own spouse, nor their children, only themselves. So too do we find those who are living in the time or the day of judgment on Babylon. Whether that judgment was in the 6th century BC or today in the last generation, God exhorts each and every one of us to flee Babylon and save yourself. Do not linger. Do not try to save anyone else, not even your own family, lest you too perish.

This is an important concept. The righteous can easily perish when judgment falls, and often does so. If Lot did not listen to the angel, he would of been burned up in the fire from heaven. Even then the angels made his family leave, his wife was caught up in the punishment, even after she had escaped. God is saying that the spiritual condition of Babylon is even more dire than that of Sodom, as even if 3 more righteous men then Lot were found within, they could only deliver themselves. However, if they do not flee, they would be cut off. If we do not obey the voice of the Lord when he tells us to move, or to detach from something, or to withdraw from somewhere, then we too will be in danger of perishing.

Maybe God has been telling you to flee your Babylonian church. Maybe it’s the city you’re in. Maybe it’s your job that is threatening to compromise your faith. Maybe it’s your relatives. Or your friends. This is no time to make excuses, or delay, or look back. Soon the angel will cry Babylon is fallen, is fallen. Where will you be when he speaks?

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup (koce – can also mean unclean bird) in the LORD’S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad (haw-lal – clamorously foolish, rave, boast).

The golden cup could refer to the riches and splendor that God gave Nebuchadnezzar initially. He gave him dominion over all the known earth in his time. The cup was said to be in God’s hand, ie, under his control. Yet Babylon took its power and destroyed the earth by exporting its idolatry and fornication and as a result, the whole earth has become insane (see Rev 17:2,4,6, 18:2-5). I find it interesting that an alternate meaning of cup can mean unclean bird. Revelation speaks of Babylon being the haunt of every unclean bird (Rev 18:2).

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Civilizational possession has occurred, since we so aggressively threw away our Christian foundations and have embraced the old gods. Watchers and fallen ones used to reign over the lands of Japheth, the lands of the west. The light of Christ destroyed their domains and they retreated into the shadows for many generations. That is why we could enjoy the advance of civilization, under the rule of law. Now that we have so forcefully rejected the Christ that made our society possible, we have invited these old gods such as Baal, Ashtoreth and Moloch back into our lands and thus, we see the total chaos that is now ensuing. Only when such powerfully insane spirits are given back their authority do we see such lawlessness and unreasonableness dominate our culture like we do today. In effect, our lands are now seven times worse than when we first brought the gospel to them.

Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Mat 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Mat 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

This passage indicates that there is a direct comparison to be made with the repossession of a sinner, and the repossession of a nation by the old gods of the land that were driven out by the gospel. How else to explain the sudden insanity that has gripped the west? We try to come up with logical, psychological explanations when nothing but the reality of what’s really going on in the spirit realm can adequately explain it.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

There is no way you can take this verse as God saying that you should feel sorry for her, and that there is a chance she can be saved. That would completely contradict every word of the bible concerning the judgment of Babylon. If you take that stance, you are doing injury to the text and especially to your listeners, bringing doubt and confusion where there should be none. This is a critical verse to teach the principle of context, context, context when rightly dividing the word of truth.

God uses irony in several places. This is another one of them. How do we know? Because taking this at face value contradicts everything else that God has already stated about this empire. There is no healing for Babylon. No possible hope. No chance of salvation. It would be equivalent to say that the antichrist could be saved, or those who take the mark of the beast, or the devil himself!

Instead the straightforward meaning is as follows: Babylon’s judgment will be sudden and complete. This was fulfilled the first time in 539 BC when Babylon fell in one night. For the second and final consummation, did not Jesus say that the end times will be as the days of Noah? And how did judgment fall then? Swiftly and suddenly. In a totally unprecedented manner. It began to rain. For the first time. Ever. We will are going to see something similarly unique and sudden when Babylon falls.

Second, be comforted, oh people of God. Take balm, or take healing comfort in her destruction. Feel no pity or remorse for her that destroyed so many. Do any of you feel remorse for Hitler? Or Stalin? Babylon is much worse than either of them.

God is mocking those who are crying over her destruction. Go and comfort yourselves, you who think she may be healed, or salvaged. In this mocking call of God, we see the merchants (cabal, elite) of the earth cry over her destruction (Rev 18:9,11,17-19). The people of God may cry. But it will be tears of joy when God avenges us on her.

Jer 51:9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment (mishpat) reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies (firmament).

Again, the theme of the earth dwellers lamenting the end of their wealth that wicked Babylon had provided them (Rev 18:9-20). Babylon’s judgment will be such a public spectacle that all creatures, on earth and in the heavens, will witness it.

Jer 51:10 The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness (tsed-sw-kaw): come, and let us declare (inscribe, enumerate) in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

God’s people are encouraged to rejoice when the wicked are taken out of the way. It is a very human and good thing to be happy when evil is punished. The wicked protect the evil, and punish the good. Exactly what is going on in our lands at this time, as the evil rule. That will eventually change. We are to proclaim God’s work. What sort of work? The work of judgment. In the end, when Babylon is finally utterly destroyed, it will prove the righteousness, or the rightness, of the church’s stance and position in the scheme of things. The wicked continually rail at the moral stance of the church, calling it hateful and racist. Did we ever think we would live in a land that every single thing they accuse us of is what they are practising to the fullest extent? Have we ever seen such hateful and racist people as those in charge today? Filled with unfairness, excluding all who disagree with them. Fueled by hate, hating themselves and projecting that hate onto all others. We are living in a kingdom whose rules are the exact opposite of heaven’s rules. This is how God is going to create that deep longing for heaven in our souls. For too long Babylon had too much of the things of God in it to make it palatable and even enjoyable. Now that all the good things of heaven have been removed from our lands, we are going to rapidly develop a longing for heaven that should of been in our hearts all along.

Jer 51:11 Make bright (polish) the arrows (piercers); gather the shields (from a root meaning dominions or rulers): the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device (plans, intentions) is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Polish those hypodermic needles! Round up all those watchers that rule these lands. As God stirred the spirits of the Medes in days of old, so he is stirring up the leaders of the nations today. God’s plan is to wipe Babylon off the map. They are haram – devoted to destruction. Why? Because of his vengeance. Vengeance is his. It is his exclusive domain. He does not permit any of us to wield it. Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. Babylon shall not stand.

Jer 51:12 Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong (obstinate), set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Schwab, Soros, Gates – take your millions and your billions and your bio weapons and your needles and make all the plans you want. Go and double the chemtrails. Fire up the DEW weapons. Declare more pandemics. Dig deeper bunkers. Do whatever you think best. God has long ago decided your fate.

Jer 51:13 O thou that dwellest upon many waters (rules over many peoples), abundant (exceedingly) in treasures (weapons), thine end is come, and the measure (cubit) of thy covetousness (plunder, dishonest gain).

Kind of reminds one of the writing on the wall. God had measured him and found him wanting. God has taken the measure of the cabal. He knows exactly how much unjust gain they have accumulated. They may rule over many nations. They may have unprecedented weaponry, revealed to them by the watchers who have shared their forbidden knowledge. It matters not. Your end is here. It has come.

Jer 51:14 The LORD of hosts hath sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill thee with men (adam – human beings), as with caterpillers (locusts); and they shall lift up a shout against thee.

The obvious primary meaning is that God will bring the army of the Medes as locusts against Babylon who will shout and scare you silly. Your land will be filled with this army.

I wonder if there is a hint of something more here. The word for men is adam, or Adam, representing human beings. Normally the word am or eesh is used for people in general. Perhaps their plans to dehumanize and transform humans into cyborgs will not be as successful as they planned. The pure humans will rise up and overwhelm these monsters. We pray that God preserves humanity with its original dna, before these insane things we call the cabal are able to successfully corrupt the entire human race.

Jer 51:15 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

God decides to reproduce Jeremiah 10:12-16 in its entirety. Don’t you love it when God boasts of his greatness as Creator? This is such an overlooked and underappreciated aspect of his greatness. I claim that all our troubles began when we began rejecting him as absolute creator in 1859 by allowing the theory of evolution to paint the greatest lie of all time into our children’s minds and our popular culture.

What God is saying in this marvellous passage is for us to pause and reflect on the greatness of His majesty, as first and foremost evidenced in his divine creation. A creation that the denizens of Babylon are doing all that they can to mar and defile.

Jer 51:16 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

God describes that he is in control of the weather cycle. I know there is much talk of geo engineering and weather manipulation. Everyone can see the chemtrails above us almost every day. Some claim the military has the power to create and alter the weather in any way they want. I take issue with some of this. If we believe that man is so all powerful, then when the judgment of God falls via natural disaster, instead of properly falling on our faces and repenting of our sin and asking God for mercy, we want to either blame climate change, or get angry at the cabal, as it they are god who controls the weather. While they may have some limited ability to affect weather patterns, let us never stop attributing natural disasters to the hand of God. Otherwise the judgments go to waste. Even if it can be proven that a weather event was done by man, yet it is still God that is either making them, or allowing them to do so. If we were not so richly deserving of judgment, do you think that these wicked men would have the opportunity to do these things?

Let us not give credit where credit is not due. Many of the early God fearing scientists in the 19th century discovered many principles of meteorology from the clues dropped here and there in the word of God, from verses such as these. We see the hydrological water cycle described here. The currents and the wind patterns also described. Some creation science ministries do a great job in taking some of these verses and explaining the real science that can be found within.

Jer 51:17 Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

In contrast to the majesty and infinite knowledge of God as evidenced in his creation, we turn to the average man in his ignorant worship of that very same creation that points to the one true god. The creation is supposed to be a clear signal to any right thinking person that there was a god that made all this. Instead their sinful hearts call what was made a god.

I cannot imagine what goes through God’s mind as he observes the utter stupidity of man. How did we fall so low? How did it come to this?

Jer 51:18 They are vanity (emptiness), the work of errors (it’s a fraud): in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

God completes the thought that these idols cannot be compared to any other thing because every other thing is something while these idols are nothing, or the lack of something. It’s all a fraud. Like all the frauds of today. Evolution. Covid. Racism and white supremacy. Climate change. Carbon. Nitrogen. All the stories associated with these topics. All a fraud. All void and without form. Equivalent to the primordial chaos that existed before the words were spoken: ‘Let there be light’.

Once again, God reminds us that there is a set day when all the idols will be no more.

Jer 51:19 The portion (allotment, inheritance) of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod (staff, sceptre) of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

We have already stated that Jer 51:15-19 is identical to Jer 10:12-16. The one difference is found in this verse, where the words ‘Israel is’ is in italics, and thus, not found in the Hebrew. So the verse is saying that Yehovah, who is the portion or deity allotted to Jacob, is not like the portion (deity) of all other nations. This is because he pre-existed before all these created beings, who are non-gods, yet labelled so by the heathen. Not only is Yehovah the first, but he wields the corrective rod on his inheritance Israel. Yehovah, the god of armies, is his name.

This brings us to a fascinating possibility found in Deut 32:8:

Deu 32:8 When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.

The Septuagint reads ‘according to the number of the angels of God’. The nations were divided at Babel. Seventy nations were created, each with a unique base language. If we look at extra biblical sources such as the book of Enoch, we see that there were angelic watchers that were assigned to preside over the affairs of mankind. 200 of them rebelled, unclothed themselves from their heavenly tabernacle (bodies), and clothed themselves with earthly flesh, so they could marry human women (Jud 6, Gen 6:4). The flood may of caused most of them to be captured and chained in Tartarus (2 Pet 2:4). However, since man once again rejected the rule of the most high after the flood by their willingness to try and reach heaven in order to fight against it, God gave them over to these remaining 70, but has reserved one tribe for himself.

If we begin to understand the true cosmic order of things, how much more ridiculous and offensive is it to say that God has rejected his one chosen tribe? The only reason we Gentiles get access to the kingdom of God is that God considers us to be grafted into Israel, the only tribe that God claims as his own. All other tribes of the earth first united under Nimrod, who built Babel. They will once again all unite under the man of sin to resurrect the kingdom of Babylon.

Jer 51:20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats – scatter, disperse) the nations (goy), and with thee will I destroy (shaw-khath – ruin, spoil, utterly waste) kingdoms (dominions);
Jer 51:21 And with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) the chariot (vehicle) and his rider;
Jer 51:22 With thee also will I break in pieces (naw-fats) man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) the young man and the maid (virgin);
Jer 51:23 I will also break in pieces(naw-fats) with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) the husbandman (farmer) and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces (naw-fats) captains and rulers.
Jer 51:24 And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil (rah) that they have done in Zion in your sight (as if in your eye), saith the LORD.

I am going to treat these 5 verses as one package, as God has decided to overwhelm us with a flood of naw-fats! There is some disagreement as to who God is referring to here. Let us remember that we have spent all of chapter 50 and the first 14 verses of this chapter promising doom to Babylon. Then in verses 15 through 18, God reminds us of his preeminence as creator, followed by a condemnation of idolatry. Then suddenly in verse 19 he does an about turn and talks about Israel. He says the one tribe of Israel is not like all other peoples. They have not been taught to worship idols. Yahweh the one true creator, is his God. As Israel is God’s portion, so Yahweh is Israel’s portion in return. Now God says that you are my battle axe, etc, etc. Who is God speaking of? Israel? Babylon? Or someone else?

Let us take this step by step. When we get to verse 24, we know that God is once again clearly speaking of destroying Babylon and the Chaldean people that compose it. He says he will do this ‘in your sight’. In whose sight? The plainest meaning would be in Israel’s sight. Unless the Hebrew word could also be translated ‘in my sight’ (I do not know enough Hebrew to say one way or another), then it would mean in God’s sight.
So now we have two choices as to who God is speaking of in verses 20 through 23. Either it is Israel, which would logically follow from verse 19. Or, he is speaking of Babylon, which would follow if one were to look at the immediate history from when this prophecy was given. One could say that Babylon was God’s battle axe that meted judgment to the sinful lands, including Judah. However verse 20 says this entity will break in pieces the goy (Gentiles), which does not include Israel (or Judah), which Babylon clearly did break. Despite that tidbit, common sense would seem to argue for Babylon, yet the text itself reads much more plainly if we see Israel as the one whom God will use to naw-fats – to break in pieces, to scatter, to dash in pieces, to be beaten asunder, to be dispersed. And since I have pledged to always follow the text, even if common sense screams against it, then that is the deh-rek (road) that I will take. Feel free to disagree.

The question now becomes: ‘In what way would Israel become God’s weapon of war? How will they naw-fats all these disparate entities? Dominions, animals, vehicles, drivers, men, women, old, young, pastors, congregations, farmers, rulers and leaders’?

Well here I will take some liberties and choose to see Israel as not only Israel, but as all the people of God, including the church. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Cor 10:4). God has always chosen to work his plans and purposes through his people. Has not the Jew been used of God to expose the hearts of men? How Jewish hatred has always revealed those who know nothing of the kingdom of God? How so much of that hatred was found in the visible church? Then, as the church spread around the world, was not the gospel like a sword in the land, just as Jesus predicted (Math 10:34)? The word of life divided all men into 2 camps. It broke in pieces families, tribes, and nations. The word will always divide more than unite, because it forces man to choose one side or the other (Heb 4:12). God has given us the weapons of heaven to pull down strongholds, bring down false pastors, break up the stony hearts of men and women, the young and the old. It calls rulers to account, it plunges to the heart and core of every society. It is the people of God that stir the souls of wicked men, to do all that they can to suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

Should you choose to see Babylon as the entity God is referring to, then you can also make a rational case. The beast system of Babylon has broken in pieces everything in our world. With the exercise of their unprecedented power, they have surely broken the nations. No government, it seems, has retained its sovereignty. All seem to be governed by outside forces. All kingdoms, or dominions, have been shattered. They are poisoning the animals. They are trying to take away all our modes of transportation. They are breaking even our gender, what it means to be a man and a woman. They have targeted and poisoned both the old and the children, the young men and those virgins pure in heart. They have destroyed churches, along with their pastors. They are attacking farmers and our food supply. They are destroying our natural leaders of the resistance.

Jer 51:25 Behold, I am against thee, O destroying (corrupting) mountain, saith the LORD, which destroyest (corrupts, ruins) all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks (your loftiness, your strongholds), and will make thee a burnt mountain.

Now we get back to a less puzzling verse. Babylon is called a mountain, not because of geography (as it sat on a plain), but because of the dominion given it over all the earth. Nebuchadnezzar was said to of been given dominion over all the earth (Dan 4:22). At that time, that was over the known earth. In our time, Babylon is given that same dominion in actuality over all the earth. This kingdom corrupts and ruins all the earth. We see this fulfilled before our very eyes. Not only is the foundation that makes western civilization work being totally dismantled, but all life on the planet is being ruined. All this dna tampering, the venom in all our injections, the cloud seeding with heavy metals, the shutting down of our energy sources and our power grid, the flooding of our lands with worthless people who bring nothing but destruction, all these things corrupts and ruins the planet. Yet God here promises to answer this latest and last outrage not with water as of old, but with fire.

Perhaps by using the mountain imagery this is also a reference to Mount Hermon, where in the book of Enoch the watchers are said to of ascended from heaven in order to corrupt mankind. We need to understand that this was the second great fall. The Garden of Eden was the first, but the shenanigans in Gen 6:4 was equally, if not more so, as harmful for mankind. These beings brought forbidden knowledge and technologies that man was never meant to have. Thus we see the fruit of their works for the second time in our history in our generation.

Since we’re speaking of watchers and fallen angels and forbidden knowledge and the like, let me touch on something that God has been laying on my heart. What are the technocrats of the world doing with all this hidden knowledge today? Solving world hunger? Making the land more productive? Providing unlimited, free energy? Looking to travel the stars? No, they are bending all their will in perfecting the perfect poison. Creating a substance that will kill mankind most comprehensively. And yet, not to kill instantly or completely, but in such a manner that produces maximum torment, pain, suffering, and bewilderment and loss of hope. This is what the watchers have brought us. What do you think the ethics of AI will be, once it’s fully in place, and controlling the virtual world? Will it not reflect the morals of its father, satan? While everyone is being herded into the virtual space, as they make the reality space unlivable, so you will be immersed in a world governed by the laws and lusts of the devil, a place that will be void of any light and love.

Compare that to what I consider the most wondrous, awe inspiring moment in mankind’s history. A time when America had already begun to clearly turn away from God, but yet had enough residual grace that it gave birth to mankind’s greatest accomplishment. Our pooling together countless resources. An unprecedented time of creativity, ingenuity, and problem solving. Something that drew mankind together like no other event in history. The Apollo missions, and the landing of a man on the moon.

Now I refuse to get engaged into any nonsense with the flat earthers. Let me state unequivocally that I truly believe the flat earth theory was sent by satan to do nothing but cause division in the body of Christ, and between men of good will, who otherwise have no problem working together. This side issue should never cause division in the body. It is not a salvation nor a moral issue, so why are we so divisive over it? All I ask is this – how does gps work? How about satellite tv? When you point a telescope at the space station and can see it, how it that possible if no bodies can be suspended in space? If you think you have good answers for these issues, then good for you. Go in peace.

The point I am making is that when I watch the HBO series ‘From the earth to the moon’ (probably the only great thing HBO ever produced, imho), something inside me leaps in wonder and joy. I start weeping. And the reason I start weeping is that I am weeping for what we have lost. In my lifetime, I had witnessed man’s greatest accomplishment. Something utterly impossible. It did not matter how practical it was. Is it more practical to spend 5 trillion dollars on the useless wars of the 21st century? What has mankind gotten in return for destroying Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and now Ukraine? When we went to the moon, we glimpsed the creative potential that God had placed inside man. What do we think we are really capable of? Can you imagine what we will be called upon to do in eternity? We have a spark of the divine in us. That singular accomplishment causes my heart to soar, as for one brief moment, we were given a glimpse of the awe inspiring potential of the human spirit. One that was yielded to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and not to the devil, as the richest of the world are so yielded to in our generation.

A trip to the moon or the perfect bio-weapon. Which project would you choose?

Jer 51:26 And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the LORD.

Remember God has placed Babylon under the ban, or haram. It is set aside for complete destruction. Regardless of what it faced in 539 BC, that was just a dress rehearsal for its apocalyptic fate that is just around the corner. As they are attempting to terraform the planet, so the beast system itself will be annihilated.

Jer 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare (kaw-hash – consecrate, sanctify) the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers (bristling devourers).

Ararat are the Armenians. Minni was a province of Armenia. Ashchenaz was the son of Gomer, grandson of Japheth (Gen 10:3). Many believe these were the forerunners of the Scythians. It’s interesting that the Jews who settled in Eastern Europe were called Ashkenazi, though the Jews came from the line of Seth and not Japheth.

There is much talk around the conspiracy websites of the so called Ashkenazi Jews. A group that supposedly grew out of Babylonian descent, who adopted Judaism as a cover for their satanism. Thus, they became those who say they are Jews, but are not. Supposedly. This has turned out as a great justification to suck Christians into the latest round of antisemitism. You can now hate Israel, and justify it by saying that hey, they’re not real Jews anyway so it’s not like I’m going against scripture! So who are the real Jews, according to them? Either they don’t know, or more likely they say the church are the real Jews now. If it looks like a duck and swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, what do you think it is? Jew hatred by just another name.

When I see each and every one of these fools and tools of satan all jump on the Palestinian bandwagon and accuse Israel of genocidal war crimes, thus coming in perfect harmony with Islam, then I don’t need to investigate this supposed secret Jewish conspiracy of Ashkenazi (non) Jewishness any further.

More and more supposed right thinking people are exposing themselves over this Israeli war. Run. Run away from them as fast as you can.

In any event, these nations were part of the Median empire. The immense mounted cavalry would cover the land of Babylon as locusts. Note also how God is using temple language in describing the gathering of this army of vengeance. They are to consecrate (set themselves apart) themselves to this task, like as to a religious ordinance. I suppose one may see hints of the justification for holy war in passages such as these.

Jer 51:28 Prepare (kaw-hash) against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

God is calling all to unite under the banner of him whom God has chosen to rule the goy (Gentiles) of the earth at this hour. It is time for Babylon to be judged, even as she once was used by God to judge others.

Jer 51:29 And the land shall tremble and sorrow (twist and whirl and writhe in pain): for every purpose (plan) of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

The whole earth shall writhe in pain. All that have submitted to the beast will now be given their reward. As they depopulated, so shall it be paid back to them. All those doctors who administered countless death jabs and counted their bonuses, so now they will disappear off the face of the earth.

Jer 51:30 The mighty men (gibbor) of Babylon have forborn (chosen not to, chose to be idle) to fight, they have remained in their holds (castles, forts, strongholds): their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwellingplaces; her bars are broken.

So much for all those boastful, outrageously prideful and condescending WEF members. At the proper time, God will paralyze them. At this time, they do not hesitate to throw out one demonic attack after another. At God’s perfect moment, he will incapacitate them, and no stronghold they have built will save them. They are going down.

One may also see in this verse a reference to the fact that the cabal did not have to conquer the world with conventional armies. They hid in their strongholds and purchased the souls of traitors in every nation, who have executed the plan on their behalf.

Jer 51:31 One post (runner) shall run to meet another, and one messenger (announcer) to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end (or, at the end),

I see the internet in this verse. The cabal wants to connect everything into the cloud, thus bringing even everyone’s body under their control. They will frantically text one another as to what is going on, as at some point of their scheme it will begin to crumble.

This was fulfilled in 539 BC during Belshazzar’s feast (Dan 5:1-30). Cyrus’ Median army had gained access to the city while the king partied on. It was said that in some parts of the city it was not known that it fell until 3 days after the fact, so easy was it to capture. I see God’s judgment striking Babylon in such a way that they will not even be aware that it has already taken place. How that will occur in our day no one knows. One thing I do know. Whatever happens next, no one will be given the exact details in advance. This is something that I’ve noticed with these end time events. The event occurs, then the appropriate scripture is unlocked by the Holy Spirit to reveal to us that it was foretold all along. I have heard several so called prophets try to retroactively prove that they had predicted it all along, yet most of the time that was simply not true. There is something about the rules of engagement in this final generation, that specifics are not meant to be shared before they occur, only generalities. Of course, I am sure there will be exceptions that prove the rule, as God wills.

Jer 51:32 And that the passages (crossing place, ford) are stopped (seized, captured), and the reeds (marsh, pool) they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

I think we are to see this passage as saying that Cyrus seized the passages into the city of Babylon. He came to a marsh, and burnt the reeds, even using them as torches as he entered the city. When Babylon’s army realizes what has just occurred, terror takes hold of them.

Jer 51:33 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

Remember this prophecy was said to be given back perhaps around 593 (Jer 51:59). It would be many years before this would come to pass. God considers 50 to 60 years a little while. Threshing floors were a place of vigorous physical beating of the grain. Why God calls Babylon a daughter here is unclear. In our time, America may be viewed as the daughter of Babylon. Once a great nation under Yehovah, she has now joined herself to the beast system, and provides so much resources to further its cause. She is the main warmonger, the main purveyor of pornographic filth, the one who provides the technology to make the surveillance state possible, the one who creates the bio-weapons to sicken and kill humanity. Wall Street provides the engine of greed that makes it all run. In short, America has all that one needs to create a new world order.

Jer 51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel (a worthless thing), he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates (delights, pleasures), he hath cast me out (purged me).

The previous verse had actually opened up a new line of thought. God begins a new prophecy by stating that Babylon’s time of judgment has come. Why? Because Nebuchadrezzar, the representative king that defines the empire of Babylon (like Mao defined Chinese communism), has so threshed me (Judah), so as to make me a worthless vessel. In essence, he went way too far in executing God’s anger upon his people, as they always seem to do.

Jer 51:35 The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

So the people of God take up the age old lament of crying to the Lord to avenge them. Somehow Chrisitians have been taught that it’s a sin to ask God to avenge them. They should read the book of Revelation sometime (Rev 6:10, 16:5-7, 18:6-8, 19:2), since most are too stubborn or afraid to search out the truth of things in the old testament, where this principle can be found in many places.

Jer 51:36 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

This was literally fulfilled when Cyrus drained the river Euphrates and gained entrance to the city, conquering it almost without any fight. We need to persist in our cries to heaven for whatever God has placed on our heart, until God decides to take up our cause. Even as when the 5th seal was broken in Revelation chapter 6, and we see all the martyred souls crying to God for vengeance, so we need to be bold to ask for vengeance for all those little ones that the enemy has crushed with his lies. Think of all the poor children, forced to endure what they have to endure in our schools today. Think of all those poor souls being slaughtered every day in muslim lands. Yet a little while, and God will avenge us. Without vengeance and retribution, justice is a mockery. You cannot have righteousness without the punishment of evil. Forgiveness is meaningless unless repentance precedes it. Unconditional forgiveness is actually evil. That is what our lawless land practices – they let the guilty go free, with no penalty or a change in behavior. Now, Jesus asks us to forgive. Not so much for their sake, but for ours. He knows how festering anger and bitterness will destroy us. You can forgive someone all you want. It may free you, but it does not free the one who offended. Only if they repent will they be set free themselves. Your forgiveness of them does not get them into heaven, they need to repent in order for God to forgive them. Let’s not be so easily confused and sidetracked by those who know just enough bible to be a danger to themselves (and to others)!

Jer 51:37 And Babylon shall become heaps (of dung, ruins), a dwellingplace (abode) for dragons, an astonishment (derision), and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

As the old Babylon disappeared off the map, so the new one will also be removed completely. When mankind gets past this plot to transform mankind into cyborgs and deindustrialize the west, people will look back at this time in history and will not be able to plumb the depths of incredulity and utter contempt for us and our stupidity and madness. There will never be adequate words to describe what is and is going to be happening to us during this horrid time of mankind’s history. I do not know what future generations will label this era as – it won’t be known simply as world war 3. It will be known as the great lunacy, or the demonization of mankind, or the forgotten era of absolute absurdity, or some such moniker.

Jer 51:38 They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions’ whelps.
Jer 51:39 In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD.
Jer 51:40 I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

This paints a picture of Daniel chapter 5. On the night that Cyrus drained the Euphrates and stealthily entered the city, the king and his princes were engaged in a drunken orgy. God could not resist in writing something on the wall. I think their utter ignorance of what was going on just provoked God to have him paint a picture of reality with his hand. How a city could miss an entire army entering their precinct is beyond me. It must of been some party!

As they were roaring and overindulging in their lustful heat, God sent a spirit of slumber upon them. It was strong enough that they did not wake as their city was being taken. They were as easily captured as one taking a lamb to the chopping block. And not only the defenceless lambs, but the rams and he goats, the supposed tough males, would also slumber unto destruction. Does this not describe our world today? All classes of people are asleep. A spirit of slumber has gripped our lands. Our churches may be in the deepest sleep of any others out there.

Jer 51:41 How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

This alternate name for Babylon is also found in Jer 25:26. Commentators believe it represents the feast of Shach, a goddess where a 5 day festival of debauchery was kept, and is believed to be the time when Babylon was taken. In this feast slaves ruled over their masters, the common ruled over the noble in some cases, and perhaps help to explain the excesses going on in Belshazzar’s court. Taking the holy vessels of the temple to drink from would certainly be in the spirit of this pagan feast.

As the muslims always seem to reserve their attacks on Israel on the Jews most holy days, so the Medes may of chosen to attack during the feast where the attentiveness of the guards would be at their weakest.

Jer 51:42 The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

The prophet reverts to imagery that he used in Jer 46:7. The invading armies come up on the city like the sea. Wave after wave of attackers, like the illegal aliens flooding our lands day after day today.

Jer 51:43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness (a place of sterility), a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.

Our cities are a desolation. It was fascinating when Tucker Carlson recently went to Moscow and posed a simple question. He showed us pictures of Moscow’s subway station. It was built by Stalin in the 1930’s. 80 years later, it looks like a museum. The place is pristine, the murals vibrant, completely spotless, no graffiti. He asks why something built by Stalin 80 years ago looks brand new, and America’s subways are completely filthy, and often too dangerous to even use anymore? Why can Russia maintain a subway system while America cannot? Why are our cities a desolation?

We all know the answer. It has nothing to do with money or funding. It has to do with morality. We have abandoned right and wrong. We have abandoned God. God has given us over to our sins. Sin always leads to death. Not just personal, spiritual death, but death in all its forms. Death in our culture, in our landscape, in our buildings, in our infrastructure. Death, death, and more death. Migrants have provided the coup de grace. And the cabal wants to cram all of us into these 15 minute cities, where we can prey on one another and eat each other alive.

Lockdowns and mandates turned our lands into a place where no one travelled. We have sterilized ourselves via the jab. Our cities are in ruin. Our lands are going to become unfarmable, if we keep chemtrailing. Our nations are all a part of Babylon, so we are reaping Babylon’s judgments. It has been written long ago. Thus, there is no escape.

Jer 51:44 And I will punish Bel (Baal) in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up (devoured): and the nations (goy) shall not flow together (assemble) any more unto him: yea, the wall (of protection) of Babylon shall fall (naphal).

The two great walls of the city were called Imgur-Bel (Bel protects) and Nimetti-Bel (the dwelling of Bel), and were thus specially consecrated to him. Thus, how appropriate that this deity is especially singled out as having no ability to protect when God decides to act. Some think Bel was Baal, some call him by other names.

As God tore down the wall of protection from our Christian lands, so comes a day when satan’s hedge about the beast empire shall also be removed. He will be forced to return what he has swallowed up. You may look at this as in the Millenium, the wealth that the beast stole will be returned to the king of kings, when he comes to reclaim his throne and his planet and all its resources. A partial fulfillment occurred when the vessels of the temple were restored to Jerusalem in Cyrus’ time.

Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger (passionate emotion as rapid breathing through the nostril) of the LORD.

You must choose to cut yourself off from the world’s system if you truly want to escape God’s wrath. Now is not the time to be like Lot’s wife. God is calling. He is making his voice known very clearly. Flee Babylon. Flee and don’t look back. Despite any momentary respites, things are not going to get any better. And they are definitely never going back to the way they were. God is saying it is up to us to deliver ourselves from God’s fierce anger. Should you decide to get cutesy and keep one foot in the world and one in heaven, you will not make it.

Jer 51:46 And lest your heart faint, and ye fear (yaw-ray – give reverence to) for the rumour (shem-oo-aw – news, tidings) that shall be heard in the land; a rumour (shem-oo-aw) shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour (shem-oo-awa), and violence in the land (eh-rets – earth), ruler against ruler.

To understand how this extremely precise prophecy may of been fulfilled the first time, I quote from Jamieson-Fausset-Brown bible commentary:

And in order that your heart may not faint at the (first) rumor (of war), I will give you some intimation of the time. In the first “year” there shall “come a rumor” that Cyrus is preparing for war against Babylon. “After that, in another year, shall come a rumor,” namely, that Cyrus is approaching, and has already entered Assyria. Then is your time to “go out” (Jer 51:45). Babylon was taken the following or third year of Belshazzar’s reign.

How this should be interpreted in our age is up for speculation. Has it already been fulfilled? Is it about to? One can conjure up any news items in the last 4 or even 8 years and make this work. I think it is yet to come. Real violence, above and beyond blm and antifa, will eventually break out, despite our best efforts. It seems inevitable at this point. Look for some 3 year cycle where there are 2 years of warnings. Perhaps the rumours can be found in 2022 and 2023 and 2024, due to obvious reasons, is the year of violence in the land. Only God knows, and we probably won’t until after the fact.

Jer 51:47 Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment (paw-kad – visitation) upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded (ashamed), and all her slain (pierced) shall fall (naphal) in the midst (taw-vek – a bisection) of her.

More dark allusions to the jabs and the corruption of the intertwined dna strand that causes them to naphal (fall down). God has visited us, and this is not a social call! He has visited and who is not rightly ashamed of what we have become?

Jer 51:48 Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing (shout for joy) for Babylon: for the spoilers (destroyers) shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.

The whole creation groans and travails (Rom 8:22). Especially now, when the wicked have decided to slay man and beast, plant and animal. Take heart, this will not last forever.

Jer 51:49 As Babylon hath caused the slain (pierced) of Israel to fall (naphal), so at Babylon shall fall (naphal) the slain (pierced) of all the earth.

The earth dwellers have sentence pronounced against them. Join the beast system, and you will perish. Yes, the people of God will first be tried and tested, and many shall perish. Many were fooled into taking the jab. Many perished as a consequence of refusing. Yet God always has the punishment fit the crime. Babylon will reap what they sow. Those that jabbed, God will jab.

Jer 51:50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away (haw-lak – walk), stand not still (or, stand not): remember (mark) the LORD afar off (remote in place or time), and let Jerusalem come into your mind (heart).

Commentators are divided if the Jews, or the Medes, or the Babylonians are being spoken about. The exiled Jews were the original ones to escape the sword. They are then encouraged to not stand there and gape at the judgment of Babylon, but remember the promise of God to avenge. Remember Jerusalem. She was judged, but God will restore. We need to think upon the heavenly Jerusalem. This is not our home. Don’t just gawk at everything that is happening. Move to where God says to move.

It is much less likely that this refers to the Medes, who have conquered, or the Babylonians, who are the conquered. Chiefly because why should they remember a god who they know not, or Jerusalem, who they have nothing to do with? I think it’s obvious the command is for the Jews.

Jer 51:51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD’S house.

This confirms that God is now speaking to his people once again. In essence, all these judgments are to serve as a comfort to this people. God has not totally abandoned us. In the midst of sorrow, it may look bleak. There will be stretches where we will long for his touch. However these promises of retribution is to prove to us that God sees what has been done to us. We are not some worthless thing, that merits no redress of our affliction. God cares enough about us that he continually reassures us that the wicked who are doing all these evil things to us will be repaid in full. We are too valuable in God’s eyes for him to overlook our sufferings. He cares about us too much for that.

However, at the present time, the exiles are covered in shame. The house of the Lord has been invaded and defiled with the wicked. Our churches have been overtaken by the wicked today. We are ashamed of the outward testimony of most of our houses of worship.

Jer 51:52 Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment (paw-kad – visitation) upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded (polluted, profane) shall groan (shriek).

Take heart. In every case, the devil gets to execute his strategy first. Thus, God’s people have to suffer as they are being assaulted. But in all cases, at the end, God pays them a visit and executes judgment on their false gods. They will be the ones that end up shrieking for all eternity.

Jer 51:53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.

This imagery certainly hearkens back to the tower of Babel. They tried to reach heaven to topple God. Though they should fortify themselves with all the technology that the watchers illicitly bring them, God will destroy all their works.

Jer 51:54 A sound of a cry (shriek) cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

All we hear today is the unrelenting propaganda of the new world order. There comes a day when all the demons within these puppets will collectively shriek when their day of final doom comes to pass.

Jer 51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

I see a reference to the anitchrist. He is given a great mouth to blaspheme against God (Dan 11:36). If we think the cabal is persuasive, using all forms of media to vomit out their lies on an unending basis, the man of sin will be in another category altogether. If we cannot stand during this preliminary period, how shall we withstand him who comes with all the power of the evil one?

Nevertheless, this verse speaks not of the power of the evil one, but of his destruction.

Jer 51:56 Because the spoiler (destroyer, waster) is come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men (gibbor) are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences (requital) shall surely requite shaw-lam shaw-lam – recompense recompense).

If we think the demons that are empowering the cabal are something, wait until God unleashes his destroying angel upon them! These puppets won’t know what to do, when the demons inside them begin shrieking in terror. I think it will be a sight to see. There will be some sort of UN or WHO assembly, and while they are pronouncing new torments upon mankind, suddenly everyone starts shrieking, vomiting, tearing their hair out, and dying suddenly. All their needles shall be broken. God may just send that angel and force inject every one of them with their own poison.

Jer 51:57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep (die an eternal death), and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Everyone with any sort of authority in this great reset will be driven insane, and become like the blacked out drunken fools that they really are. They will lose the ability to think straight, or to make a rational decision. God will take them all to hell. No escape. No second chances. This speaks of the fate of the wicked, which I believe the bible teaches as a separate group of people apart from the lost. These who have chosen the beast system and are enthusiastically carrying it out, have sealed their fate, and cannot be saved anymore. Herein is the difference when you make a total commitment to God vs when you make one to the devil. God always lets you keep your free will, so you can opt out at any time. However, those who totally, sincerely commit to the devil give up their free will, as the devil steals it away and will never give it back. Do you actually think the devil will let you keep any freedom once you give your life fully to him wilfully? Do you understand his true nature? God deals in free will, the devil deals in slavery. So much of our theology assumes the opposite. We have eternal security for the believer, but we still encourage people to waste time praying for the Hitlers of the world.

I wonder if our biblical ignorance tempts God to laugh or cry. Both, I suppose.

Jer 51:58 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

Matthew Poole’s commentary provides a succinct picture of this verse coming to pass when Babylon fell:

Incredible things are told us by historians of this great city. They say the compass of it was threescore miles about; that her walls were in height two hundred feet, her breadth such as two chariots might drive abreast upon the top of them; that it had a hundred great gates, many of then of brass. God threatens the breaking down of these walls and the burning of these high gates and towers; and that though the people should labour to quench this fire, or to rebuild this city, yet it would be all lost labour, and they should give over their enterprise, as being weary.

So we can imagine the stupendous amount of work it took to prepare for and execute the covid scam, the election fraud, the climate garbage, the great reset, the installation of 5G all over the world, the creation of numerous bio-weapons, etc. And yet after a short period it will turn out to be all in vain. All those schemes of men, with one purpose and one purpose only – the destruction of mankind. Why, oh why, could they not of applied themselves for the betterment of man? Why must rich men almost always turn to evil plans and purposes?

Jer 51:59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet (peaceful, consoling) prince.

Hang on to your hats, commentary fans, we are finally entering the homestretch (at least as far as all things Babylon are concerned)! This is where we get the date of the prophecy. We cannot say for certain that Jeremiah was given this prophecy in 593 BC, only that is when he gave it to this guy.

Seraiah was a brother of Baruch (Jer 32:12). The moniker for this guy was strange. Perhaps he was sent to Babylon because he was Zedekiah’s personal minister, providing comfort, looking after his day to day needs.

What is fascinating is that God gave Jeremiah the complete, unadulterated version of Babylon’s total destruction, 7 years before Babylon would destroy Jerusalem! So before they even undertook the main task of being God’s instrument of judgment, God had already pronounced final judgment upon them. God plays with time in a way that makes our head hurt. Jeremiah would go on to give several prophecies to Zedekiah and the people of Judah about how they were to submit to Babylon. Yet here he was given a word several years earlier about how God was going to utterly wipe them out. I am sure it made Jeremiah wonder about God, and certainly about himself. Was he hearing God correctly? How does all of this mesh together? Can all these words be true at the same time? Why did God give them out of order, so to speak? What purpose would that serve?

We must trust that God’s timing is impeccable. He must of had a good reason to do it this way, in this order. Perhaps later on after Jerusalem was destroyed, there would not of been an opportunity to do what God wanted Seraiah to do. Some things we cannot preach definitively on. It is always ok to say that we don’t know. It is distasteful when one sees a preacher confidently pontificate about a topic that he knows absolutely nothing about. All he does is spread confusion and error.

Jer 51:60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book (scroll) all the evil (rah) that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.

Sounds like he made a copy of chapter 50 and 51.

Jer 51:61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt see, and shalt read all these words;

Probably the better sense of this sentence would be: ‘When you get to Babylon, see to it that you read all these words out loud (as a pronouncement of judgment against this city)’.

Jer 51:62 Then shalt thou say, O LORD, thou hast spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

As you conclude your recitation, you summarize by speaking what is found in this verse.

Jer 51:63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

Seraiah is asked by the prophet to perform a prophetic act. Most likely he was to of read this judgment in the presence of the exiled Jews, to give them hope that one day they would see justice done on their tormentors. It is so important to be filled with the promises of God that are pertinent to our situation, to give us some hope for our future. He was to read this once, and then cast it into the river, ensuring that it immediately sinks to the bottom.

Jer 51:64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil (rah) that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary (tire, faint). Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

The physical act was to reinforce the idea that Babylon’s judgment was final. Some would say then why has Babylon arisen once again in Revelation? Well, God has funny ways of fulfilling prophecy. Physical Babylon never will rise again, yet the beast system that empowers Babylon certainly has never gone away. It is now manifesting not in Iraq, but in the globalists, and most specifically in her daughter America. Babylon is more than a physical empire, that is why it is called mystery, Babylon (Rev 17:5). God destroyed the physical empire the first time, now this second time he will destroy it at its spiritual roots.

‘And they shall be weary’ were the last words of the long prophecy of chapters 50 and 51 (up to verse 58). Perhaps Jeremiah was saying to Seraiah: ‘Read the entire prophecy. As you throw the scroll with the rock into the river, make that last statement that I’ve told you to speak (in verse 64), right after the last phrase of the prophecy itself (and they shall be weary)’.

The last sentence many think is put there by his scribe to denote that the words of Jeremiah are complete, and what follows (chapter 52) has been added by someone about 26 years later. The question as to whether Jeremiah wrote the last chapter will be dealt with in the last chapter. However I think it is fair to point out that a precise reading of the text simply states that the words recorded thus far are the words of Jeremiah. It does not say that there would never be any more words. Commentators make assertions about which they have no way of knowing whether or not it is true. All they are going by is some Jewish tradition that claims such and such. It is fine to quote tradition, just so you don’t treat it as infallible. One point to ponder is why would God add this last chapter in Jeremiah’s book by someone else? Why open up possibilities of multiple authorship? All that does is that is encourages people to entertain more and more examples of doubting the text. I am of the school that if there is a plausible explanation that maintains the integrity of the text, then that is what I go with. I do not look to believe what the majority believes, or what is considered the most likely explanation. We all have stories in our life where the most likely explanation was not true.

Let us not be consumed with trivialities that consume the non spiritual intellectuals in their ivory towers, prating about things about which God has not given them any light. Let us always take our questions to the only one who has all the answers – the blessed Holy Spirit of God – teacher, comforter and guide.
