As the Lord thinned out the weak and fearful in Gideons camp, The Lord will thin the herd of profane preachers in the Church
I really felt the Lord has been showing me for a long time that a very tough day is coming for the profane. Those that called themselves to the ministry for money and fame. They don’t care for the sheep, they don’t know His word and His power. Polished communication experts with talking points using gimmicks, power words, and motivational messages. They really DON’T know Him and He doesn’t know them either! They really don’t KNOW His word, His power. They never teach repentance! They have no fear of God! Beware of jannes and jambres in the churches!
Jeremiah 23
1. Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. 2 Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. 3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord. 21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
Judges 6 (Israel lived in the mountains and had nothing to live on)
2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the (They no longer lived in their house) dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds. 3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites (the giants/Nephilim), and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass. 5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it. 6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
2 And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
3. Whosoever is fearful and afraid (those afraid of persecution, you’re not ready), let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand.
And the Lord said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
And he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet in every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and lamps (they had oil in their lamps/ 5 virgins with oil) within the pitchers.
If you’re not keeping a repentant life, keeping your oil in your lamps full; you might be sent home, so the ones the Lord has chosen can get some work done. Get clean and stay there!!!
